I've never had a problem with DHL, and never heard of DPD, hopefully it's a good move though.

That, and others like you. Delivery performance is measured in percentages but broken products are measured in pounds sterling and lost customers.

Very fast from dispatch and all boxes in perfect condition. As previously mentioned the tracker is updated very fast. HUB 3 is the new and improved hub in birmingham (like a big sorting office)
GEOPOST has 3 HUBS.

HUB 1 IS INTERLINK (NOW STORAGE)
HUB 2 WAS PARCELINE (NOW INTERLINKS SORTING HUB)
HUB 3 IS DPD (SUPERHUB)
and for the people that dont know DPD we used to be Parceline (Geopost) and our sister company is Interlink

As for tracking your parcel it is nearly at real time (2 mins delay)
and yes the Vans all have GPS in them.

All, I've just come back from a hard days work hoping to find a brand new velociraptor to play with but it seems DPD never called by....

online tracking shows "Unable to deliver, calling card left" at 9.15 today. My bro was at home at this time, as much as I trust him, there is a slim chance that he may have missed the door bell but the strange thing is NO calling card was left at all.

Don't really know what to do now as I have no calling card. Any suggestions?

Best thing to do is call our sales line in the morning. We will be able to help track your parcel and sort this issue out for you.

if you get carded in the morning or you just miss the driver, most times he will call back later in the day, as he/she wants to get rid of the parcel so always best to call the number and ask to speak to the depot.......
who will call the driver and ask if he can go back there today...

A quick google maps reveals:

21.0 mi – about 33 mins

a lot closer than the DHL depot was.

Very nice, DPD looks very advanced compared to CityLink well especially the depot that i work at.

Did anyone ever get around to looking into reduced shipping to N. Ireland (among others) for qualifying forum members? I remember one of the mods mentioned they'd be looking into it but nothing about it was heard since.

Happy with my DPD delivery even though they say the hub is in Maidstone but IIRC in this thread it says it in Larkfield.

They do the same with the Supermarkets round here. Sainsbury's claims to be in "Larkfield" so that it looks better on boardroom charts since there is a rival supermarket in Larkfield, Tesco and Saftway..no..Somerfie...no..nowitscalledMorrisons!

Hi there

Some of the reasons why it says that they are in a differant town is they must have moved!

Southampton used to be in Southampton but now are in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh
But we are still called Southampton depot21
i have only just got the address change to read we are in Chandlers Ford and not Southampton

Its like all the depots are Stuck with the town they started with ........ Sorry if you have been mislead.

I try not to buy stuff couriered by DPD, not one depot in Wiltshire

I like parcel force as they will drop at the post office if you're out.

I receive my parcels at abut 7:30-8:00 no matter what

Just like to add my 2p
My delivery got changed to a Saturday one (free of charge) but i had to go out at 10am and the parcel hadn't arrived yet. At 10:10am i got a call from the delivery driver to see where i was, i then explained that i wasn't in and asked if it would be possible to redeliver to my girlfriends parents. The nice chap said that was fine and drove it straight there!

Fantastic service I think! So thanks Mr. Driver from Chandlers Ford
