It should still be left for hot, right for cold, middle for just right

But hot can be used as a cold tap until it heats up, i deem it the more useful tap!

Actually in my house the cold water must run next to the radiator as when I turn it on it's warm first then cools down. And of course the hot does the opposite and starts off cold but then warms up. So I voted for Cold Right and Hot Left, but it depends how long the tap has been running

I would have thought that hot left, cold right. Is exactly the same as cold right, hot left

I'm always used to hot left, cold right, but my ex's house was backward.. It always used to catch me out in the mornings in the bathroom. Would go for some nice cold water for a drink from the tap for and end up with a mouthful of warm water!
