Want to purchase. I know this doesn't really matter with this sort of game, but I wonder if the EUR PSN version to download will be the 50hz PAL or 60hz NTSC version? I know the original PAL PS1 version is the 50hz/bordered version.

I've not bought any PS1 games off the Euro Store yet, so don't know what the norm is? I hoped the closeness to the US release (2nd June vs. 4th June) might mean Square Enix's worked on releasing the same version to both regions.

I guess we'll find out soon - if anyone does bite and buy the Euro version tomorrow please let us know.

What sort of time does the PSN update? I have had my PS3 for a while now but never really used the store.
Also how do I go about moving it from PS3 to PSP?

EU one? During the day tomorrow normally, in the afternoon.

As for copying it over, I believe the PS3 walks you through it step by step.

Are they making this psp compatible to? Or just via remote play? I ask because my current version of PSP FF7 works, but some music and SFX are a bit iffy, which bugs me

I think you underestimate the popularity of this game and number of avid FF collectors out there.

You can't show off your collection of downloaded games.

Not in the slightest. The PSN version means nothing to a collector. It'll do nothing to the value at all.
