Istanbul - TURKEY Grand Prix 2009 - Race 7/17

*sigh* If you want something done properly you just have to do it yourself ;)

Embarassing for Barrichello and Massa there, looking good for Button. Alonso won't be a happy boy; lightest in the top ten and still only Rosberg and Kubica behind him on much heavier fuel loads.

Webber did a great job there, he needs to hope he doesn't get stuck behind a brawn because for his weight he did a great lap. Jenson too, Vettels lap not so great when you take into account his weight. Hopefully Jenson can get ahead at the first stop.

The commentators are doing a good enough job.

No they aren't it's why r5l Have showed them up on every race. switch commentator and just see how rubbish brundle and co are compared to r5l.

From the looks of the fuel weights.. RBR arn't v.far away from Brawns Pace! but then again.. it alters on every track.

I can't stand the bbc commentry btw.. I've not listened to R5L to compare but Legard does my head in, Brundle I can cope with..

Legard comes out with the same stuff each race, stuff you can see with your very own eyes!! I know he used to commentate on the radio but he needs to tone it down :|

Brundle today ' These cars grip so well at the front, I'd love to drive one I bet they're great ' (or something along those lines)

Legards response ' Oh yes and back in your day (suggesting brundles car understeered all over the shop '

Brundle ' Well No '

Probably me being picky but some of the things he says make me cringe..

So Brawns suspicions about the Red Bull infront of them being lighter is correct. It's all down to how they get off the line tomorrow now. I'd be expecting both Ferrari's to jump the toyota and be giving Webber grief down into the first corner. Vettel is going to need a perfect start and good pace to stay infront of the Brawns this weekend. It seems that the BGP is weaker in sector 1, but stronger than the RB over the rest of the lap. I hope we get to see a great overtake for the lead, and its not done in pitstops.

realscot

if you listen to the words leggard says they are absolute nonsense, and as people have said he repeats the same things over and over.

Brundell explains some of the more technical bits (how they are doing on a lap etc) if there is a part that brundell speaks for a while its much better than leggard waffeling on and not letting martin say a word.

I really hope Leggard goes next year and they replace him with something else

I'm gunna say Vettel for the win, but then again, I've been saying that all year :p - imo he'll be world champion soon enough..... Maybe not this year, but soon[/url]

What did I say? Vettel on pole, albeit not fuel corrected pole.....
Correct me if I'm wrong the but all the races here have been won from pole?
So yeah, Vettel for the win tomorrow

Am very jealous of anyone who gets to go to Silverstone this year, shortly to be unemployed means I cant afford it.

Race is shaping up to be a potential good un, I promise not to do any raindances and am hoping for minimal carnage on the opening lap.

As for commentary, when Leggard starts to annoy me too much, I just switch it to CBBC commentary, a few minutes of that and im giggling like the big kid I am.
:D
