Not only that, but I am paying about 4 times the price for uni than locals. So there is hardly an argument for 'not contributing' since I pay more than the locals, pump in money into the economy by spending on everyday things and recieve nothing except for a hardly used NHS.

That's because the parents of the British students have been paying in tax for years that helps subsidise it for them, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the amount that you pay is also partly subsidised by the British taxpayer either

I watched the results service on BBC and three things struck me. First the contorted extreme hatred in the face of the (labour supported) anti BNP protesters that attacked Grifins car. Second the remark by government minister Andy Burnham, that the job of the three main parties was to "take the BNP out" (not simply defeat or argue against them). Third the BBC journalist Nick Robinson's matter of fact admission that the three parties had colluded to put up additional candidates simply to dilute the BNP vote. And still they say that the BNP is a party of hatred, violence and a danger to democracy!

Became fairly clear when I was rejected twice for a dependent visa which would entitle me to state education with very idiotic reasons but was almost immediately given one as soon as I applied for a student one which meant I would have to pay for schooling.

Just pointing out that not everyone coming over here is doing so with the aim of scrounging off the benefits system which is what some of the people on here seem to be implying.

Hardly. The reason universities like international students is because we are the ones who subsidise the local students.

And yes, they have been paying them for years, but that hardly makes a difference in my case since i'm not entitled to any of the benefits which they contribute towards? NHS barring of course but given that my mom was here as well and she was paying tax, that should make up for it. Especially since the NHS is hardly used by me.
