They aren't directly funding anything. They bailed Real out a while back by buying their training ground etc and sold it back to them for a lot less.

This current spending spree has nothing to do with the Royal Family although if they're in trouble a few years down the line then no doubt they'll get bailed out again
 
It also makes UEFA/FIFA critisicing certain English clubs a bit of a joke really; nothing will happen especially since one of their own darlings is owned/run along similar lines.
 
Too suggest that Gerrard is demonstrably better than Kaka is pure fantasy. Lets remember that Kaka has delivered the goods at Club, European and International level and at a consistently high level for a number of years. Gerrard is only just showing form in an England Shirt after so many false starts.

It's close but KaKa shades it for me

When has Kaka delivered on international level?
 
Considering Gerrard has only played further forward for England over the last year, that stat's meaningless.

Anway, i don't care about England, they wouldn't be the ones selling him. Over the last 2 seasons, despite playing in a far poorer league and being a more attack minded player than Gerrard, Kaka is trailing Gerrard in both goals and assists.
 
AFP Newswire is reporting RM are in talks with another player (who wore the AIG shirt last season).....according to the BBC .....but how reliable are AFP????

Not very is the answer to that one
