off to renew my season ticket this week and more than happy the price is not far off last years, i wonder how much other clubs have risen due to the insane prices some teams pay for players ;)

personally i dont think my club needs to spend big or bring in a load of overpriced players, just a decent attacker/forward who can score a few goals will suffice.

we have some gems in the youth/reserve teams, the likes of Nemeth who is a born finisher, S Darby a great defender and that new lad from Milwall, David Amoo(still needs to develop) who i hope get a few games next year.

Negrado would be a decent signing if the speculation of £6m is correct, he's still contracted to Real' and i believe they have shown interest in Arbeloa(dont want him to leave) so maybe theres a deal in there somewhere ..
 
I don't think Darby will make it, even when Arbeloa has been out he's never been given the chance with Carra, Skrtel and even Masch playing rb instead. Also we're likely to sign another rb (possibly Johnson). As for Amoo, he's a talent but it's probably a year too early for him, he's only just got promoted to the reserves the other day.

Nemeth and Pacheco are likely to be gradually brought into the first team set-up next season though :)

you think? pacheco is too lightweight and should go out on loan. i had high hopes for nemeth this time last year but he really hasnt recovered from injury. heres hoping im wrong though
 
Yea i do. I agree that Pacheco is lightweight but he's technically excellent and tbf he's never struggled with over physical defenders in the reserves. As for Nemeth, he was likely to have been involved last season had he not had an injury hit season but iinm he stopped training with the reserves and joined up with the first team for the last month or so of last season.
 
well madrid has my head spinning this last few days but my heart thinks man utd will be just as strong next season.

berbatov in the hole behind benzema as the leading striker and both of whom are tall strong and skillful and with brillant vision.the best kind of strikers u could wish for.

that v madrids creaky defence and girly prima donas hmm it sure will be interesting.

players to come through into the first team ranks are welbeck,evans,macheda,da silva brothers,dodo.

That formation would get its ass handed to it on a plate and would see Rooney handing in a transfer request so he can play in a team that will play him up front.
He wont stick another season being stuck out wide left.
 
I don't rate benzema that much tbh from what i have seen of him in whole matches that i have watched.

If chelsea just buy 2 high quality young guys like aguerro then i think we are faves to win the PL. Aguerro may be out of our price range though, i beleive next year is when we try to break even ;\. So maybe make a few sales first if anyone wants our old boys. I hope we do get maldini in the staff though. one more top quality player in each position and were rocking. Maybe get another solid GK to backup cech too as im worried about him :(

Well if that part is really true, then I guess we have scrapped any plans we might have had to try and sign Silva, Albiol or Negredo.

You are certainly right about Rooney - and more importantly he deserves to be given a few seasons to show what he can do as the centre of the team (ie without Ronaldo)

I dont think that team would necessary get its ass handed to it - but on his efforts last season, Berba doesnt deserve to be in that team (even if he did cost £30m) - personally go with Silva and Valencia on the wings (which wont happen anyway) and Benzema is staying in France also lol
