**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

This is a faimly forum for christs sake :o
Well if that part is really true, then I guess we have scrapped any plans we might have had to try and sign Silva, Albiol or Negredo.

They're just talking about the players rumoured to be being offered to us as part of the deals involving Masch and Alonso (the likes of Eto and Negredo) not every Spanish based player.

Anyway Albiol is joining Real and Negredo is going to Valencia (both part of the Villa to Real deal).

off to renew my season ticket this week and more than happy the price is not far off last years, i wonder how much other clubs have risen due to the insane prices some teams pay for players ;)

personally i dont think my club needs to spend big or bring in a load of overpriced players, just a decent attacker/forward who can score a few goals will suffice.

we have some gems in the youth/reserve teams, the likes of Nemeth who is a born finisher, S Darby a great defender and that new lad from Milwall, David Amoo(still needs to develop) who i hope get a few games next year.

Negrado would be a decent signing if the speculation of £6m is correct, he's still contracted to Real' and i believe they have shown interest in Arbeloa(dont want him to leave) so maybe theres a deal in there somewhere ..

Paid mine a couple of weeks ago, was less than last year. £634 for The Kop

hahahaha

You are certainly right about Rooney - and more importantly he deserves to be given a few seasons to show what he can do as the centre of the team (ie without Ronaldo)

I think particularly this season the whole manu set up was compromised pandering to ronaldo. Rooney is the most important player in the manu set up and hopefully now they can structure the team more to playing rooney as a withdrawn striker.

The trouble is who plays up front with him. You need a RVN type to play with him.

I really don't think Manu will miss ronaldo all that much next year, you can get some shape to the side again and have some players that will win and keep the ball in midfield.

Berbatov needs to be told to goal hang and if he moves Rooney gets to kick him in the face.

This is of course unless we sign a goal poacher ;)

I think mine (well my dads) is just under £700. Its got to be paid this week. I was going to go half with him but I find it hard making it every saturday. Its the first row in the Centenary stand nearer to the Anfield road end, so its not very good when play is at the kop end.

Mine is in block 306 of the Kop. Stand up each game start to end and a great bunch of lads around me. With working away for the last two years so have missed lots of games, bagged a new job 7 miles from my home so wont miss a thing this year hopefully :)

I have sat in the lower centenary a few times. Seats are really really cramped and the first few rows get rained on when its raining :(

As for the waiting list, wonder how many people if offered one from that list would actually take it up or are still alive!
