**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

I honestly didn't think Sagna had a great season. Good yeah, but not great. The season before he was far better.

he's had a poor season, some good games, some horrible, Liverpool ripped us apart down that wing with Sagna screwing up a lot, his awful clearance that went across the box and led directly to a goal along with a dozen other mistakes. He hasn't been even close to his form pre-injury in the first season, when he was arguably up there with the best in the league. He's still good, and I pray will get his form back, but he had a lot of poor games this season. Bosingwa was the best in the league offensively and defensively.

THe single game he got crucified for was against Utd after he failed to block a Ronaldo cross that led to a goal, considering no one on earth can stop every cross going in, and the fact that it was 2 on 1 and you simply can't cover to players with no support he was blameless.

Sagna's crossing was horrific all season long and offers no threat with delivery into the box, he didn't run the overlap much at all and obviously even if he did, the delivery was awful(though it almost looked good against Theo's delivery). Defensively he was stronger throughout and pushing up the field he's good, but I don't think he even matched his 1st season form in any game this season.

I have heard quite a few rumours that Keane would be off, after a supposedly disappointing six months with you. Could understand he might be a little crushed about not getting a fair chance/making it at a top club (again), but surely any move he has now wouldn't be upwards? Might as well get his head down and get back to form with a club that still supports him.

If he were to leave now, his confidence and career would be in tatters. He made the wrong decision to move to Liverpool.

Rumours that Ronaldo has finally agreed details with Madrid regarding image rights and he will have medical early next week.

United are linked with another 1/2 dozen players as a replacement - most of which are complete fabrication, the other unlikely to arrive (incl Silva and Villa)

Please do explain why you think would be a stupid thing to say?

At first I found it funny, but afterwards, thinking about it, I think it might actually be a viable move for him. Especially if his confidence is as low as you would expect after leaving again.

By the way; Do you have any idea what this Kyle Reid is supposed to be like, that SUFC have signed on a free?

It is comical really. He's played for

Wolves>Coventry>Inter Milan> Leeds>Tottenham>Liverpool>Tottenham

Why the hell would he want to return to Wolves....

Talk about a step in the wrong direction. Keanes a very good player who just didn't settle at Liverpool. I think you might be a little bit biased on this topic Gimp.

When you have no confidence, any move that means you are getting regular football, is a step in the right direction.

+ with him starting at Wolves, I'd imagine he would quite like to go back there at some point.

Who says he won't start at spurs?

He's been almost undroppable it seems during the last weeks of last season... not through his performances though, instead through Harry's refusal to drop the captain.

It was a wrong decision to give him the armband with him only just back through the door.

I wonder how the rest of the squad felt about that.

He would only leave spurs if he wasn't starting games. Which means, if he was to move, he wouldn't be getting starts. Simple, no?

But he will be starting games so what's the point of your argument. Simple, no?

Shall we start talking about Where Rooneys going to go if he doesn't start?

Just about as productive.
