Rest In Peace Michael Jackson (No Disrespect Posts)

Meh, I don't see why people care so much about celeb deaths, r.i.p I suppose but I can't grasp people's obsession with celebrities and why they get so upset when they pass away.

Given that digital sales are now included in the Top 100 charts, wonder what the odds are of a 1-10 clean sweep of MJ singles in the Top 10?

I don't know about top 10 but I'm betting that Billie Jean and Man in the Mirror will be 1 & 2 in that order, with 3, 4 and 5 made up of 3 of his others. Beat it, Bad and Thriller to feature somewhere.

This man was way more than any 'celebrity'. He was the greatest ****ing entertainer that ever lived

Sorry guys, as I said I didn't understand as I don't get that attached to celebs, but you've cleared it up and said what he meant to you, I didn't mean it as disrespect, more confusion. I only ever casually listened to him so that's probably an explanation

I think thats a very subjective statement though, I certainly think he was a great entertainer, but not greatest. For me , Mercury was a better entertainer, but its different for everyone.

r.i.p mj i will miss you as much as the world will, you are the king of pop,you will be in heaven with the rest of the famous legends that you loved and admired.

you will never be forgotten and my thoughts go out to your faimly

RIP Michael, he will be ripped apart by sections of the media however.

Was shocked last night when I heard, was out drinking and someone got a text, we thought it was all some elaborate wind up, alas no. :(

Anyways we parted to Thriller later on in his honour! His music will certainly live on for years to come, he was a genius.

While he was deeply influential, he was a complete mess the past few years, so much pedophillia and he went pretty insane, ****ed his skin up. Still, without him, music wouldn't be what it is today, i dunno if thats a good or a bad thing.
But fair play to him, he wrote some tunes. And some cool dance moves.

Even if you don't believe he was the best ever (I do) it tells a story that he's spoken about on a level with Mercury and Elvis.

One blogger doing unprecedented damage to the social media cause (and in fact undetermining the credibility of all bloggers) is Perez Hilton: upon learning of Michael Jackson’s hospital admission, he posted the following, shockingly offensive piece, alleging that Michael was “lying” or “making himself sick”. The post has now been updated on his site to temper this gross insensitivity, but we fear the damage to the blogging community has already been done.

Complete and utter ****

Cant post what he wrote as it was a screen grab from his site which has been updated, the image is in the link.
