The results have changed a lot lately. Cisse was miles ahead.
 
quite excited, back for 2 days and Fergie already signs Valencia (or at least finalised it) and now rumours Benzema is on his way.

here is hoping we make good signings to fill the gap :)
 
and Benzema is pretty good from the 10 or so games I've seen him in, you've got to weigh it up in that he's the kind of striker we don't have at the moment in that he really is a striker but 38million would be ridiculous (if it actually happens which lets face it is still not odds on). I'd have been more excited last season actually.
 
I doubt if Real really wanted Benzema they would be paying 38 million pounds, In fact, he is the type of player I could see Arsenal getting for less than 20 million.

We really do get shafted when it comes to transfer dealings, we seem to pay 50% more than anyone else would realistically pay, each and every time.

I don't like nor rate Blackwell. I agree, he was very poor earlier in the season and made a lot of mistakes. He did make up for his poor start by almost getting promotion.

I think a big reshuffle, maybe playing players in the right position or at least where they feel comfortable. Is what you need, but you can say that about most teams.

Pleased United signed Valencia. Looks promising.

Pleased United might be getting Benzema, saw him play a fair bit last season, and saw him in the Champions League. Looks a good player and a rising star.
 
benzema has been except for last season, when the entire lyon team where massively below par.

this lad has something special, watched him in the flesh a few times, his movement and technique are truly outstanding.....he will be something special.

He can never be forgiven, even if it's just because he signed the walking plant pot that is Craig Beattie. He is shocking, and then to play him upfront in the Play-Off Final, instead of Sharp. Stupid, his finishing and decision making on a football pitch has got to be lower than my sister, and shes 10.
 
Eto is staying for another 2 yrs at Barca...unlucky Man City...just cant seem to sign any big names...well other than Robinho:p...who i imagine will be gone after next season if they dont make Europe.

Kaka was unveiled at the Bernabeu to over 50k people:eek:...just saw it on skysports and bloody hell he was being mobbed left right and centre lol.

And on another unrelated note, looks like Southampton might be out of football as Le Tissier and his consortium couldnt come to an agreement with the football league over the 10pt deduction...they have till friday to find someone to take over...

Think you imagined it - BBC dont have it (5 hours later), and by all the reports its the same deal he rejected a few months ago (he wants a better salary I believe)
