*OVERCLOCKED* Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz @ 4.00GHz + Free Game

I'm assuming swapping out the cooler for a zalman 9900 and putting it in an antec 183 will provide sufficient cooling?

Yup should be fine.

Back to £560 now, dammit just missed out!

Offer for the TWO was for the World in Conflict PC game which will be going after the next couple of sales.

When I click on the link, it's still telling me £540

Yup its at the same price but no WIC.

Bundle is running at a 0.97% return rate from the volume sold, is still maintaining a huge advantage on reliability over the standard components.

Seperately everything comes up to £533.19 so we are paying around 7 pound for you to overclock it if i haven't got my maths wrong, sold.

Nice one! Just out of curiosity, can you tell me what kind of testing these bundles get when you assemble them at OcUK? Thanks in advance :)

Apologies for the unwarranted bumpage. Just curious really - what's the testing procedure you use on these set-ups after installing everything at OcUK? :)

I know this offer has been changed, but I'm still interested in purchasing the similar package soon. So could some OcUK guru answer this for me please? :)

Looks like my timing was impeccable as I managed to grab it while it was still at £540. According to the delivery date on order it was supposed to be here today, though I figured that was a bit unrealistic. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow as that's my last day off for a week but as it's still showing "In our warehouse queue" I'm not overly optimistic.

Ditto, mine is coming Friday as I just rung.

Dont mean to be rude but ocuk should be ashamed of them selfs for charging 150 for 4.2 overclock when 4ghz is 25 pounds. the price difference for the minor oc is ridiculous.

I am totally agree with you. OC should be ashamed of themselves, all the greedy management is due to make a profit of an extra £150 !!!

I disagree with charging customers of from 3.80Ghz to 4.20Ghz for an extra £150 is really ridiculous rip off.

I am sure many buyers will avoid this to make overclockers to re-think again - never mind the high exchange rates.

I don't want to be rude or bullying overclockers but I just shocked and can't believe my own eyes with this silly prices.

Your paying for the oc, its way to much mate i wont pay that and i am sure most will not, i could go over to tweak town and get the oc without having to pay ott prices.

£125 for an extra 200 mhz.. must be taking the mick a little...??? Even the 4ghz bundle is about £50 more expensive than it was a week or so ago.. I got my bundle for £539.. and a simple increase in the bios hits 4.2ghz no worries...

Sort it out OCers.....

the 4.2 bundle is cherry picked

the best performing chips that can do 4.2 go into them

they come with a top end air cooler [prolimatech megahalems]

also - the testing and time that goes into the overclocking means that ocuk must charge more
it simply is not good business to have one technicians day taken up by one over the top bundle

the price is prohibitive to avoid me having to do 50+ a week
it would be impossible
due to the rarity of low voltage 920 chips, i probably see 2 a week that would do it

i overclock all the bundles on my own and spend a lot of my free time supporting customers who have purchased one

the price reflects the time that each bundle takes the technician

3.8 is easy
4ghz, a little harder

4.2ghz is for people who want the best
not every chip will do 4.2 on air
the ones that do are recieving extra attention
plus you get a £50 cooler rather than a £30 cooler

its stil LESS money than an i7 975 - for a FASTER full bundle
