I'm glad you find it hilarious. All three cars on a country lane hoon will be similar. Short ratio gearboxes optimised for TLGP suck anyway. You're making out the difference is light and day when it isn't. I don't care for 0 to 60 times, I case about handling, the package in general and how the car pulls through the gears. The VTS would hand on to the coat-tails of an ST much like a ZS would hang on to a VTS. Lets be honest here, all these cars are slow at the end of the day.
It hangs onto the coat tails of a VTR not a VTS.
A VTS would beat a Fiesta ST, i'm not saying it would be comfortable but it would beat it.
A VTS would obliterate a Zetec S like a VTR would obliterate a 1.4 Saxo Furio.
You can bang on about handling all you like, a Saxo VTS is a 106 GTi. Same engine, same chassis, same gearbox and same suspension.
Jeremy Clarkson said the 106 GTi was one of the best handling cars, ever.
Someone please tell this man.
