ARRRRRRGHHHH Armpits are on teh fires!

I use Anhydrol Forte personally, but only ever for interviews/dates/etc. Can't feel it at all when I use it now and stops me sweating for about 5 days, just don't use it frequently as it can't be good, plus makes me sweat more in other places (back/face).

I have never used this stuff before. I use the perspirex stuff, and yes this stings aswell. Makes my armpits really red and itchy sometimes. But the results are pretty amazing so its worth it

Just ordered some Odaban, sounds like it is what I need. I sweat lots when I'm doing sport which I don't really mind, but I'm hoping this will stop me sweating from my armpits for times when I'm just sat around. Even when I'm cold - almost shivering I sweat sometimes.
From reading up on it it sounds like the psychological reasons for sweating seem to be to blame.
I currently use Mitchum - and whilst a lot better than anything I've used before it is still hit and miss.

^Wimp! :p
Be a man and experience the pain with us Driclor users! I'm the same regarding sweating when it's cold - I couldn't pin it down to anything though.

I agree with the people talking about the psychological aspect of sweating.

I used to be pretty paranoid about it so even a little bit of hot/humid weather would have me thinking about sweating so then, of course, I would start sweating.

Where as on a night out when it's probably just as hot in some of the bars, I'm dry as a bone after a couple of pints because I'm too relaxed to be thinking about it.

What's working for me at the moment is Driclor once or twice a week and trying to be generally more relaxed about it.

I follow the sensitive skin instruction of spraying onto a cotton wool pad then wiping the pad over the arm pit area. It give a more even coverage and ensures I don't apply too much as can be the case with a roll on like Driclor.

Good luck :)

Just ordered some driclor.

Doctor prescribed me Anhydrol Forte a few years back and it workd for a while but then became less effective, then I tried Odaban but the same happend again. Hopefully this will work better.

I know my dad sweated excisively and my bro does too so it is definetly genetic.

is that the stuff for sweat?
i was prescrived some stuff from the doc for sweaty hands and advised to use it in other sweaty areas since i had, i cant remember how we came to the conclusion my pits were excessively sweaty, i think it was more fear/ocd of being smelly and pit stains.
used one night and i was birght red, itchy, blistered and seeping the clear fluid stuff. Unsurprisingly Iam allergic to it
