Given a decent run in the team he would do well. Its no good judging him on performances when he's in one minute, out the next.Annoyingly this means Capello will still keep picking him for England (once he is over his injury).

ARound better players, and even more importantly in a similar team offensively ( just without Young people) will see so incredibly easily that he's a 1/10th of the player Young is. To be honest, no matter where Young goes the Downing move has probably made the left wing spot for England Youngs for a good while.
AT Boro people confused Downing for good because there were some very average or even bad players around him, as a direct replacement he will obviously be far far less successful than Young.
WAsn't Southgate or the Boro owner going on and on about only selling to a top 4 club because he's good enough, and not a single top 4 club even considered it.
Will be interesting to see where Young goes, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool could all do with a better left winger and all can afford him. Then assuming Real Madrid have given up on Ribery, Young could be a serious option for them at a much much cheaper price.

I see villa are denying Young is going anywhere on the bbc site.
I think they will play him upfront next year.
