I'm a massive fan of the books, I've read them until they've fallen apart and I've replaced them many times, I waited in line for all the books since the first.
I'm not a big fan of the films to start with, I just watch them and cringe thinking they shouldn't of done this, or that's missing, or who is he, why is she in it now but wasn't cast in the first film. meh.
I just got back in, I didn't enjoy it, I just felt that, along with the first films they missed too much out, characters were missing and plot holes popped up, these films needed careful planning, and incredible writing.
This film, was probably the first film since the first or second that stuck to the story fairly well, still missed huge important chunks out, but not as much as the others.
They missed far too much out, it was noticeable in places. My younger brother enjoyed it no end, as I imagine most young children will.
I however am in the "prefer the books" group. I don't mind the films, I just think they've done things wrong.
The final chapter to the Deathly Hallows is probably one of the gayest, lamest endings to anything ever in the history of everything.
Thought it was awful, haha such a cop out, she
could of written more books, or simply just a book to explain what happened in the aftermath, not one rushed chapter that took a lot away from the last book.
