Realistically Alonso will be 30/31 when he moves on and will barely fetch a large transfer fee.
Also, not sure if that was a sly dig at me, but I think most people would rate Fabregas as more expensive than Alonso, I'm probably not alone in that respect, added to that, most clubs would also agree.
