The UK gets E edition, N edition is for another region that has no IE or WMP so yeah, we all went for E![]()
You can get N in the UK too, although the MS Store seems to be the only place selling it!
I've pre-ordered it, but one question;
Will it allow you to have a: as the main hard-drive?!
It always annoys me that it to goes to c: straight away![]()
Bit locker, virtual hdd booting and a few other things. See chart in link.I am curious, not read the whole thread so it might be here somewhere, but what is the difference between Pro and Ultimate? Fromt he MS site, its seems nothing. It seems you get media player etc in pro and virtual pc and joining domains, but Ultimate seems to offer the same. It is only a tenner more though.
It's a good advantage too IMO.
That's cos no one will buy it. MS are just forced to sell it, to keep the UE retards happy. Just like probably only one or two people in this thread who would pick the E over a normal version and only because they have no idea what they are talking about.
Think you'll find that the "E" (and "N") version are the only ones that are going to be officially available in the EU ... so there's not much of an issue of picking "E" over the "normal" version.
You can still get it for £90. We just can't say where.So I cant preorder this as an upgrade to vista for less than £190 for the professional version? If thats the case then its pretty poor.
