it looks like a very nice game but then again everything looks good till u get in the game and its like **** why did i buy this **** lol
well i logged in once , after i logged out game client goes bonkers and starts redownloading a game , probably some bug. need to see how to fix that problem in official forums.
otherwise game looks alright still loads need to be fixed , plenty of lag as well , visuals are great do.
edit: actually theres new patch out will give it a go now

was re-reading through the game details and it does sound quite good however £12 a mth subscription !!! deal breaker for me
It will eventually come down imo, I was paying £11 odd a month for darkfall at the beginning but now it's £10 dead on after 4-5 months. Though I recall them saying they wont be charging people in the beta until they think it's worth a release.
I guess it doesnt help that the £ has weakened so much recently. As most MMO prices are worked out on a $ basis, its been pretty bad for us. Whereas an MMO that charged $12 a month used to be only 6 or 7 quid for us...now that the £ has weakened..that same $12 a month is working out a lot more for the £.
Thought I'd revive this and let people know that there will be a stess test sometime this week and anyone who creates an account will be eligable to join.

Judging by the forums the game is still a fair way from being complete but there is talk of an open beta this month with release not long after. Few mmos are done on release but it seems MO still has a long way to go but as a huge UO fan I would really like to see it succeed and will definitely have a crack at the stress test and open beta.

Interesting, I will take a look and create an account. See if it can recapture some of the MMO wonder that was UO.

Actually reminds me a bit of Darktide in Asheron's call. You literally hit the world running and hoped for the best
I'm no stranger to free for all PvP - but with the lack of players in the local starting city meant a lack of help, looking through the in game help function and nothing.
Least in Darkfall when you die you wait and you eventually respawn (if you don't press space) I will try MO when its more polished, but the idea of the zones being instanced put me off.
