Which team did you watch last year?
I watched the one who struggled for goals for about 6-8 weeks in that poor stretch and we've just lost one of the best CF's in the world on his day - and we don't have the defensive makeup to eek out too many 1-0 wins.
Sure Adebayor was a sulk for the majority of the season but he was genuine world class when he wanted to be.
Eduardos fitness is still undecided largely, we all know RvP won't play 40 league games in the best of scenarios so at some point are we going to be relying on the likes of Bendtner for goals??? i'd say most likely is the outcome of that question.
I am going to be pretty dissapointed if another good striker isn't brought into the squad but that's not likely to happen. It's hard not to feel like this will be a tough season especially after Nasri/Eduardo news.
Yeah they struggled for goals for ages, but not after Arshavin was bought, and as far as I'm aware he's still knocking around. Also, Man Utd struggled for goals for large periods of the season and won quite a lot of games 1 - 0, Arsenal scored the same amount of goals as Man Utd and Chelsea last year didn't they? So goal scoring isn't the biggest of Arsenal's issues I'd say, unless Man Utd and Chelsea are also in the same poistion (Man Utd having lost by far their most prolific goal scorer, Arsenal keeping RvP)
Also Adebayor only showed one moment of world class ability last year and that was Villareal away, with that overhead kick, may I ask the question, which version of Adebayor were you watching last season as it was certainly a different one to the rest of us (inc. Wenger who couldn't wait to sell him!)
I don't think we should carry on as you obviously have very different views to me, and you don't really provide fair arguments as you mis-interpret most of my posts entirely!
