Drogba's goal last night was incredible. Shame it happened pre-season because it won't get the coverage and praise it deserves!

Nice to Zhirkov finally playing and grabbed a goal aswell. Feeling more confident now about next year, still feel theres a big signing to come. I hope anyway.
 
Drogba's world class when he wants to be. Similar type of attitude to Adebayor though. Both can be awesome in front of goal when they want to be but fairly limp when they don't. Hope he doesn't continue in this vein of form. One of the few players that's guaranteed to cause trouble for Liverpools defence.

Considering how much money City have spent upfront and how truly awful the Kaizer Chiefs defence is, I'd be a little worried that City haven't really done much at all if I were Mark Hughes

:D:D...hes a funny one that Adebayor...scores the most impossible of shots but christ almighty on a stick he misses some sitters so embarrasingly bad.

Glad we got rid of the lazy bugger...he can go make history at Man City by missing the easiest of goals:p:D
 
He's not-so-surprisingly being a hell of a lot more active in this game, not lazy at all, chasing down loads etc. What a massive idiot he was last year :/
 
Zhirkov played up front when I saw him play Aston Villa in the UEFA Cup last year, but apparantly he's best as a left winger. To top it all off I hear Chelsea have listed him as a left back, so what position did he play in the A.C. Milan game?
 
lol, unfortunately that City game rather quitened down(from what I could tell inbetween repairing windows-- a real one, not the OS), was quite looking forward to Ade being injured for a season :(

He really is terrible, same old crap ball hit up to him, tries something, fails, passes back to midfield, if he can be bothered to try something first. Expect pre-season plus about 4 games of ever so slightly more effort, first goal, then he'll start doing his "i'm so good I'm going to pretend to be Henry" impression out on the wing.

How on earth are Newcastle getting that badly spanked, a first team sans 1/2 key players, or a real first team?
 
What team did city have out? they have lost two and won one in this "tournament" they have played in, where is all this class they are supposed to of signed?

Where are you getting that info from as he's listed as a left midfielder on the official site, he can play LB too.
As mentioned earlier in the thread he played in front of A. Cole last night on the left side of a diamond:)
 
Mate of mine said it in passing to me, plus he's also listed as a defender on Fantasy Football... ahem. :o
