I'd only rewatch some parts which is mainly the beginning when the chick is wearing skimpy stuff.![]()
watched the first few episodes of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, i get the impression of it being an anime version of the War of the Worlds remake, right down to the responsible adult protecting the kids to capsizing boats and collapsing highways lol, just with an earthquake in place of the tripods.
Very good old school romantic comedy series even if it is full of cliches. I quite liked the OVA version much more seeing as it includes characters from the Manga version which were opted out in the main series. Also this evening I've watched "If I see you in my Dreams" .... an odd little series (with the emphasis on little as each episode is only 7 mins). It's about a salaryman who falls in love with a nursery school teacher but ends up in a bit of a love triangle between her and an office lady. The usual comedic misunderstandings abound and it is quite funny in places although there are times when you want to shout DON'T DO THAT YOU BAKA!
It is also rather odd that it's a bit more explicit than a normal series with a large number of shower scenes so rarely an episode go by without some nippular action but thats it, it never gets any further to turn it into hentai. It was a quite amusing to watch but just a bit odd. There is an OVA version of the story as well which adds some other characters vying for the female leads affections but that'll have to wait for another time.
Watched Eden of the East the other day. It was quite good, although the ending was a bit abrupt. Will watch the films when they come out, hopefully they'll clear it up.
My favourite ones in certain Anime whenever there is a computer and the focus is slightly on the monitor screen, you can see the names of knock-off Microsoft O/S like "Windoors 2000" as an example. That is good news
however it could be something similar to the Somy and Panaphonic brands you see in Anime, the companies/films aren't sponsors of the show, and the shows legal team/creators are playing it a little safe by not having them too recognisable or something.
That is good news
I may end up ordering Clannad in a few weeks (I'm currently over budget by a long shot for my anime this monht/next), and good news for Sugar as that's a series i've wanted to see for some odd reason for a while*.
Walker, i'm not sure why they'd do that (especially not having seen it), however it could be something similar to the Somy and Panaphonic brands you see in Anime, the companies/films aren't sponsors of the show, and the shows legal team/creators are playing it a little safe by not having them too recognisable or something.
I'm stiill watching Solty Rei which is pretty good for a general actiony anime
*I'm a sucker for a catchy them, and find that jumping between genres seems to help stop me getting fed up with some of the cliche's in anime (I can watch a fan service heavy show, but then find it hard to watch another straight after, so something like ****/Emma/Haibane or Sugar once in a while keeps it fresh).
