Im looking for an anime to watch im half way through soul eater really enjoying it, im into crazy fight scenes and enjoy lots of fighting get bored if it trys to drag it out for 10 episodes like dbz, any pointers?

I'd only rewatch some parts which is mainly the beginning when the chick is wearing skimpy stuff. :)

She's called Yoko and the second film is due soon. Can't wait :)

Going to try and finish off legend of the Galatic Heros over the weekend. Damn good anime but the fact one of the protagonists looks EXACTLY like Griffith creeps the hell out of me.

watched the first few episodes of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, i get the impression of it being an anime version of the War of the Worlds remake, right down to the responsible adult protecting the kids to capsizing boats and collapsing highways lol, just with an earthquake in place of the tripods.

I've seen the first couple of episodes of this and thought that it was quite good so far, although for a cataclysmic earthquake I'd have thought that there would have been more destruction where the main characters were when it happened.

Watched the fourth episode of Aoi Hana this morning which is continuing to be quite good. Watched a couple of other things via CrunchyRoll this morning but they must have been good as I can't remember what they were :)

Also this weekend I've been watching Witch Hunter Robin. Thought that it was quite good but it didn't really grab me and drag me in. Not sure why really, it seemed to have the elements to be very good but there didn't seem to be as much edge of the seat-ness.

Also this evening I've watched "If I see you in my Dreams" .... an odd little series (with the emphasis on little as each episode is only 7 mins). It's about a salaryman who falls in love with a nursery school teacher but ends up in a bit of a love triangle between her and an office lady. The usual comedic misunderstandings abound and it is quite funny in places although there are times when you want to shout DON'T DO THAT YOU BAKA!

It is also rather odd that it's a bit more explicit than a normal series with a large number of shower scenes so rarely an episode go by without some nippular action but thats it, it never gets any further to turn it into hentai. It was a quite amusing to watch but just a bit odd. There is an OVA version of the story as well which adds some other characters vying for the female leads affections but that'll have to wait for another time.

Also had a look at the World of Narue but it looks like my ancient R2(UK) copy is dub only with no sub track and only English audio :(

Most probably because of the fact that Endless Eight is in fact...endless at the moment ive been rewatching the 1st Season of Haruhi.

Still stupidly funny mostly because of Kyon's dry wit, one of those animes where i have to say i prefer the Dub over the Sub.

Very good old school romantic comedy series even if it is full of cliches. I quite liked the OVA version much more seeing as it includes characters from the Manga version which were opted out in the main series.

Speaking of which, I'd also suggest picking the Manga version up as well. Quite a long running story but well worth it and as it also carries on much more when Masuo was transferred at the end of the main Anime series. Some more interesting characters too, especially a certain pregnant lady which is one of the most sweetest story arcs.

Watched Eden of the East the other day. It was quite good, although the ending was a bit abrupt. Will watch the films when they come out, hopefully they'll clear it up.

That is good news :)
I may end up ordering Clannad in a few weeks (I'm currently over budget by a long shot for my anime this monht/next), and good news for Sugar as that's a series i've wanted to see for some odd reason for a while*.

Walker, i'm not sure why they'd do that (especially not having seen it), however it could be something similar to the Somy and Panaphonic brands you see in Anime, the companies/films aren't sponsors of the show, and the shows legal team/creators are playing it a little safe by not having them too recognisable or something.

I'm stiill watching Solty Rei which is pretty good for a general actiony anime :)

*I'm a sucker for a catchy them, and find that jumping between genres seems to help stop me getting fed up with some of the cliche's in anime (I can watch a fan service heavy show, but then find it hard to watch another straight after, so something like ****/Emma/Haibane or Sugar once in a while keeps it fresh:)).

My favourite ones in certain Anime whenever there is a computer and the focus is slightly on the monitor screen, you can see the names of knock-off Microsoft O/S like "Windoors 2000" as an example. :D

Just finished watching Last Exile for the umpteenth time.

Still amongst my top anime's of all time.

Also got my Ergo Proxy box set back, is it bad that I checked it for any form of blemish or mark as soon I got it?

I think I may have killed someone is it was damaged.

Sugar is a very surprising series, on the surface it's a fairly silly magical girl type thing but as the series progresses you'll find that it has a lot more depth which drags you in and it is sad at times. It's very good though and I hope that the collection includes the two episode OVA as well. I have the original boxset + the OVA DVD from the TRSI bargin bin from last year sometime ...

Solty Rei is currently high in my rewatch pile ... if it isn't pre-empted it may be rewatched this weekend.

Clannad AS will be an automatic purple star pre-order for me although things slipping (I'm looking at you Bandai) is playing merry hell with my budget at the moment. I've actually ended up cancelling a couple of orders for things I'll pick up at a later date.

Just finished Clannad and After Story... Holy tearjerker! Took everything I had to stop them, and yet I still failed :( Still, amazing series. Worthy of it's high ratings, definitely.

I need to watch something manly now! With lots of action and general killing of everything. Hopefully Fate/Stay Night will fill that requirement :D
