Hangover Cures

Water is never the best option, the best is to stick your head in a freezer!

Failing that then that stuff you give kids when they have diarrhea works well as it replaces all the vital nutrients you lost and flushed away when drinking. Its aclled dioralyte i think...

The hair of the dog that bit you...more alcohol.

I see Urm, doesn't sound good to me tbh, I think I'd hurl if I did so much as saw another pint of Guinness or shot of Russian Standard for the next week or so at least. :( I was thinking of getting some fresh air, drinking some water and hoping my car hasn't been clamped where I left it. :p

Water, electrolytes, potassium (bannanas), multivitamins, eggs (they soak up the hangover causing toxins) and most important time.
The after mentioned things will speed up recovery, but there is no cure. There lots of prevention methods.

A hangover is basically a combination of dehydration, a realease of toxins from the liver, swelling of the blood vessels in the brain and your body being drained of essential nutrients.

Whenever I've been out and had a bit too much and wake up feeling quesy, I try to go out for a short walk, take deep breaths all the way around the block :D I usually get back to my house feeling a little more lively.

I've spoken to a number of GP's and also consultants through work, and just in general conversation this came up and they reckoned you are just as good making your own solution of fruit juice, salt, water and a bit of baking soda. Their own solution of having an IV drip overnight was the preferred method of combating it, but not sure if that goes on anymore as they are all the more senior types now! :)

Fat
sugar
salt
water
carbs
caffeine

The basic things you need to correct your body after a heavy session.
You blood sugar levels will be low so you need sugar for instant boost and carbs for longer lasting affects.
You need salt as you have wasted loads sweating and peeing.
Water due to dehydration
Fat as your stomach HP will now be very high it's why people get a dodgy stomach.
Caffeine as you haven't slept properly

I should do this more. I usually fester on the sofa watching TV and sometimes feel like i am going to pass out!

Yea, if you look at the ingrediants on this diorolyte stuff it is mostly salts and sugars in it and that is all that is needed to sort your body out

As for the intervenus drip lol unless your a surgeon a little hard to get hold off, you dont even need it all night, 20mins is more than sufficient

+even if you could I would not want to put one in whilst drunk. Or leave it in. Your bound to rip it off or knock it with in 2 seconds.
