BF2 1.5 patch on 1 September

Well everything is running fine but does 1920x1200 feel a little wierd for anyone else?

In game it just seems a bit strange but I can't describe it (sort of stretched or warped...). :o
 
I would but lag will be crap for me and work will be calling!

On the lag issue am i alone in suffering peak time/evening issues but no problems off peak?, i keep blaming my ISP, whats the feeling?
 
Anyone else having AA probelms? If i activate it through the game menu then no aa shows up in game. If i force it through nhancer then i get missing ground textures in game.
 
For AA changes you need to quit game, restart and adjust again (it does warn you when you apply settings), i done 4 restarts of game/logging onto server to get me upto 8xAA as i wanted to check fps etc to make sure that was not my problem.

Easiest is to edit the video.con file in the profiles...

VideoSettings.setAntialiasing [off/2Samples/4Samples/8Samples]

AA is bugged for ATi users though. :(
 
So how is this doing? Haven't played BF2 for ages and I feel like playing it again. From reading this thread their seems to be a lot of bugs.

Well, after having to start again, I'm not sure I'm going to bother with promotions again.

There are so many 'tards in this game it is unbelievable. NEVER before in a game have I felt the urge to TK. It definitely wasn't like this 2yrs ago.
 
Guys, wonder if anyone can help.
Installed the game, then patched 1.41 and then 1.5 both successfully, and so went to start up the game, for the first time in about 18 months... And I joined a server, only to find as soon as it loaded, I would be kicked for a reason stating "You have been kicked for a communication error with punkbuster." It did this 3 times in a row last night, so I gave up, any ideas? Should I reinstall punkbuster or something, if so, how?
