1password or keyword access or neither?

Do you mean Keychain Access, i.e. the normal OS X keychain?
I've used 1Password, but I ditched it because I found it somewhat buggy. You need to be able trust software that's encrypting stuff you have no other way of recovering!

Use it at home and going to use it in work because its easier for remembering passwords!

I've never had a problem with 1Password being buggy, not a single issue. Don't use the OS X keychain though, switch it to the Agile keychain and then you can sync it between systems using something like dropbox.
1Password really is superb, I used to run a couple of single generic passwords for everything but now I have good random and long passwords everywhere.

1Password is the single best piece of software I've ever bought (excluding OS's). I've never had one bug using it, and I've been using it regularly for 2 years. I have it on all my Macs and iPhone. I use DropBox (or you can use iDisk) to store the keychain so it syncs between all your Macs. Absolutely brilliant piece of software.
It was quite a long time ago that I used it, but I remember being annoyed enough to abandon it.
It's a pain in the arse that the standard OS X keychain doesn't sync with the iPhone. K-E-Y-C-H-A-I-N - it's supposed to be portable :/

Another vote for 1Password here. Just make sure your Master Password isn't 'password'.

- I have used 1password for a while but am currently using the v3 beta (although, i would recommend not using this yet, its far too buggy)...
Thing is v2 doesn't work with 64-bit so not fully snow-leopard compatible yet...
I was kinda just wondering if the good things about 1password are do-able in keychain access...

really?
• can't add secure notes
• keeps loosing the keychain and you have to re-add it
• has closed a couple of times on its own
a few more too, think it just needs a couple more weeks...
btw: any idea how to change the 1P logo in safari? i like the keyhole look

I'm able add them in 1Password 3.
I don't understand what you mean by this but it is recommended to upgrade to Agile's own keychain.
Have not experienced this ever since using 1Password.
Not surprising since it's a beta application
It seems the feature has not been implemented yet and you could visit Agile Web Solution's forums to request for this feature to be implemented back in.btw: any idea how to change the 1P logo in safari? i like the keyhole look

Again, I've not experienced a single issue with the beta of V3, that's on a couple of machines synced via Dropbox with many hundreds of passwords. I think 1Password is probably one of the most used applications on my system(s).

well actually... had loads of problems with iWork but not much else as i recall?
I think i might know why i'm not having good luck with 1password 3 - will report back tomoz

So what happens if you're at a machine that isn't on your sync list?
Example: I visit a friend's house and want to log in to Gmail.
I've installed 1Password for my father so he can just click-and-go without having to remember different passwords, but I didn't really test it enough to decide if I should install it. Apologies if it's a noob question.
