Thank god its not just me.......last night i unistalled BF2 because i was getting kicked from the games because of some weird PB kick, so i thought i would do a fresh install today.

Everything fine until i came to log in....'database error'...:(

I hope the servers havent been hacked like they were in 2007....

I got two unlocks when that happend lol

Other people posting about it on the EA Forum. Look's like it's just happened.
 
just installed this now i cant log into my ea account, try creating a new one it says database error, try retrieving mine it says incorrect or in use :(

I'll just ask in here, should I buy BF2 and all its expansion for £8?

I loved desert combat mod back in the day on BF1942. I want to shoot peoples!
 
Dont often make my way into the PC Gaming forum very often but seeing this thread has tempted me. Just re-installed BF2 after 2 years of absence on my HDD, really loved it and tbh im not quite sure why I stopped playing. Keep an eye out for a chap going by the name of Arnold Rimmer, probably at the bottom of the score sheets :D On the plus side it got me round to deleting Half Life 2 from my hard drive, all 8 and abit GB of the damn thing.
 
quick question, when I'll playing on specal forces can i still play the original bf2 maps or do i have to load up the standard bf2 ?
 
All installed and patched up, account created, and just installing project reality :D

Now help me find some good servers to suck and die on :D

I've played bf2 vanilla before long ago (never with the Sf addon though), lost the disks years ago though, just fancied getting Pr to see what it was like later :p

Going to play bf2 vanilla till i get my aim back before trying it though



Know any good servers malc?
 
My head memory is borked mate, Sorry.
All I do is go on whatever 64 man server has the lowest ping my end, If it's cool I stay if crap I leave & that's how I've played since day one.
Be careful that PR mod don't bork your Vanilla & lead to a full instal re patch etc, Major hassle.
