BF2 1.5 patch on 1 September

So hopefully this should arive soon.

what patch version do you think it'll be? (iirc the patches are huge and sequential) so might start dling them now (going toi dl op patch)

If you ordered the complete package, it should come with 1.41 so all you need is the new 1.5 patch.

If your wanting more mods to try aswell as PR, Forgotten Hope 2 (fairly realistic WW2 mod) had a big Western front update last week, previously only had African maps.

Been playing it quite a bit and its very good.
 
Downloaded the PR and FH2 mods but haven't got around to installing them yet. Curious to know whether the rather large FH2 download includes all the original Africa maps or do I need the first FH too?
 
was wondering does anyone know if its possible to disable transport,Apc, tanks and planes on single player, ie infantry only but in single player!??

I googled but cant find anything

Just bought SF off EA's store for £5 odd + 10% quidco (thats like 50p or something!) lol

That stupid EA Downloader sucks but finally got it to unlock and extract the annoying .eac download. currently installing and patching now
 
Just been playing this online..... I've just been reminded how damn awful the hit detection is at times. Playing with a ping of 40 and emptying half a clip (in bursts) at a guy who isn't moving - didn't even hit him. Maybe the gun I was using is just that bad!
 
ok since no one bothered with my previous question how about this one

could someone kind gentlemen please tell me how you pay compliments to your squads when you are captain. I have heard people say things like "you are the worst squads i have ever seen"..so on.

i have looked but cant seem to find anything on it....

this new patch 1.5 is nor better than 1.41, these pkm guys they just lie down on the floor and they have the precision of a sniper. You cannot outgun them, i though the pkm were supposed to be inaccurate even when prone.

damn this game sometimes.:mad:
 
As Commander you mean?

Just right click the squad leader IIRC, there's option for good/bad statements and it chooses a random one, I think there's 4-8.

I do have another question, i asked previously if its possible to disable vehicle in single player no one replied and i cant seem to find an answer so my solution was to setup a coop server with a password and no vehicle so that i could play infantry only.

but i cant seem to click on the box that says no viehcles...this is finally going to drive me mad..

would appreciate any help, as this is driving me nuts...
