Do you carry a lot of stuff? I thought they were removable for when not in use?

It's obvious where this is going, and that you're only trying to justify your own dislike for this car/type of car even further. :p

It's not my cup of tea either. It looks like it could be really nice with a different set of wheels and the binning of the gash interior. It looks like it could look/be quite purposeful with a bit of work, but as it stands, I don't think the broken suspension look suits it. Mainly because it's an Almera and has tiny, narrow wheels in cavernous arches.

Sorry.

Do you not think I was perhaps asking why you'd chosen not to?

Let me spell it out for you.

Is the roof rack part of your ridiculous attempt at styling?

no, what you asked was

I thought they were removable for when not in use?

how am i meant to pick up you asking why i chose not to?

let me get my crystal ball out..... oh wait, i sold it on ebay last week

Because I quite clearly asked you what it was for, I'm not stupid, I know what a roof rack is used for, it was obvious i was asking why its left on the car.

Well obvious to most, perhaps not to you it seems

So, lets try again.

Why do you leave the roof rack on the car, is it part of the styling?

sorry, i beg your pardon, the earlier GT's... did they run the non RR version which were 140ish, from what i can see in the haynes book of lies, they did as they mention about the ph1 2 and 3 engines, different throttle body housings etc is all i can see, the roller rocker version produces 150bhp yes.

the 140bhp sr20's have a precat in the downpipe and a cat along the underside which is why the boys on AOC can only assume of the lower bhp

not quite sure how they did it seeing as the RR version is the same in all late ph1 and all the ph2 almera gti's

EGT/GT P10 Primera's and P11 Primera's all used the 150BHP SR20 black/red top engines. Some early P10 Primera's called the Ezx had the highport version which was rated anywhere from 160-70bhp. The N15 Almera, P11-144, and P12 primera all had the SR20 rated at 140bhp which had a different ECO manifold and a more environmentally friendly ECU setting. This is why I hate the french for taking over Nissan :p.

well ask questions directly rather than beat about the bush.... ;)

yes it is for the styling.... if thats what you want to call it

Not my cup of tea but i can appreciate the amount of work you've put into it.

Do you get pulled over by the Police often in a car looking like that btw ?

just for spot checks and to be told that im driving too fast.... apparently 25 in a 30 is too fast... think he wanted to check the car over

It only started to dawn on me when I saw the pictured 'rat look' cars that you had done that to the bonnet on purpose :o (I was just scanning through the thread, not really reading everything) ...I have never heard of this rat-look before. I thought for some reason you just hadn't gotten around to priming the bonnet at that stage, then ...then I realise that the mat black paint isn't actually some sort of base coat ...it's actually how you wanted to paint it. I am confused as to why?

I don't know what to say really. I don't like it at all. What a waste of time and money.

Congratulations - that truly is one of the worst looking cars in existence. I can only imagine what people think when you pull up beside them at the lights and try and "drag" them :)
