Update 31-07-09

my funny clicking noise has been gradually getting worse over the past 2 weeks, from the start i was adamant that it was the CV joints due to too much stress on them seeing as the car was on the deck!

was spotted in moira/dollingstown lastnight

got the g60's bored out. took them to my dads mate who has his own engineering place

got them done in a CNC machine

did u buy the wheels unbored

nope, they were vag fitment, 57mm bore, mera needs to be 59mm bore

they are the same as the mera gti alloys 35mm offset 4x100

just the bore is smaller

also used my old bootlid struts as bonnet supports!

just a quick update, front and rear bumpers

im not overly fussed about the small scuffs here and there

vzr grill, some pics here of what turned out """" at the start, went and bought more paint and primer etc and started over, not sure what went wrong the first time round as it was the same paint used on the bumpers :S

bootlid, started this but i think its gonna be a waste of time, the rubber seal is coming away from the frame due to rust, gonna get a new one of stewarty04 on here, used to me simms old gti

i also got the CAT back into the car, wow, some pull off it now than when the straight piece was in

also got the GTI wheels cleaned up a bit.

ill be getting these powder coated lambo orange with white drums and calipers or white with lambo orange drums and calipers, after a refurb obviously, but that will be later down the line, probably the summer

right, were 80 percent there now, all i have to do is get the doors back on and get them painted, get the gti bootlid on too and get it SLAMMED!!!

hey all, aint posted on here in a while so some update info

got the old GA14 out and dropped in an SR20 from the Almera GTi/Primera GT....etc 140bhp

got the engine in and running within 14 hours! gazeebo up at 6am started work at 7am and crack on through to 9pm

bled the brakes on the sunday...

boy does it shift, even if it is down on compression! 3rd gear, foot to the floor... oh yea!

just about keeps up with robs gti... with same mods

got an SS Autochrome 4-2-1 and downpipe with an Autech exhaust system (comes as standard from the Autech tuned Pulsar) Autech are basicly like Brabus/Overfinch etc

next on the to do list is:

- buy a bloody lambda sensor, currently sounds like a big V8, lambda sensor should cure the problem
- fit short shift kit
- get paid
- buy new rubber (Toyo Proxes or Yoko Parada Spec 2's) for my VAG G60's
- fit G60's
- drop the front a bit more... too high for my liking lmao
- get paid/bank job hehe
- nismo fpr
- JWT highlift cams
- Dastek Piggyback ECU
- get some balls and lift the 40grit and go mental... or some more nitromors

got the car dyno'd at AI Autosport yesterday

pretty happy with the results seeing as its low on compression

any ideas how to get the torque figures back up?
