So Gordon Brown is a freemasson

At the risk of starting something I really don't want to; when you say proof then what do you mean? Ideally I'd be looking for something that isn't just some random person on the internet spotting a mis-grip of a handshake or similar and then determining it as part of an arcane ritual but I appreciate that might be all the evidence there is to support this.

Proofs as in, the same (or very similar) ancient egyptian type rituals present in recent ceremonies in front of our very eyes but which ppl are unaware off or simply ignore as something with no relevance. Societies like the skull and bones, rituals such as those that take place at bohemian grove.

You are right though, we don't want to start something off on here, it's best to just read around yourself and make up your own mind.

It's ok Fluffy, I think we're safe!

I think he meant what is discussed or 'decided' at these meetings is highly secretive.

Well, that gets a great big "So what?" from me. The details of my latest doctor's appointment are highly secretive; nobody knows what happened except me, him, and my wife (because I told her). z0mg, globay conspiracy!!!

Most these politicians/world leaders are members of very strange secret organisations, and engage in bizarre rituals.

No, they're not. They're really not.

This is hidden from the public and even the very idea is made to seem ridiculous but it goes on and there is enough proof out there if you actually look for it. It will never be shown on the main stream media.

No, it's not hidden. It's not hidden because it isn't actually true. And if it really was hidden, there's no way it could be uncovered by a handful of morons with an internet connection. Don't you think secret societies are just a little bit smarter than that? Maybe? Follow the logic, perhaps?

I love conspiracy theorists. They're the sort of people who believe that they are personally threatened by a secret, all-powerful international consortium whose identity and plans are so evil, so brilliant, so exquisitely crafted, so complex and so well hidden that their full details can only be discovered by a 2-minute Google search.

Kenneth James Noye murdered a policeman and was let off because he was a freemason !

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/noyes-tangled-web-of-corruption-721292.html

In the late 70s Noye joined the Hammersmith Freeemasons' Lodge in west London. He was proposed and seconded by two police officers. He eventually rose to be the master of the lodge with the support of the membership of which the police made up a sizeable proportion. Other masons included dealers in gold and other precious metals. A little while later Noye was being helped out of an arrest by a detective who was a fellow mason.

One of Noye's police contacts was prepared to intervene on his behalf not just with fellow officers, but other law agencies. The detective approached a Customs officer investigating Noye in the early 80s and pressurised him to " lay off". The Customs man, at first surprised and then angry, warned that if the conversation went any further, he would have to officially report it.

Even if that story is true, it's a reflection on rampant corruption in the met rather than freemasons.

You are way too full of yourself. You are normally the first one in these threads and the first one to dismiss the possibility that anything out of the ordinary can ever possibly happen. I replied to someone else, not you, and simply advised him to do his own research and come to his own conclusions. You have some sort of problem with that?

No one actually believes that except you, so sit down and take a good look at yourself first.

Tbh it seems as though you are trying to convince yourself more then anyone else, keep saying it afew more times and it might just work.

No, I am usually the first to point out the gaping logical gaps in people's arguments. Speaking as a religious man, I believe it is entirely possible for something out of the ordinary to happen.

No, of course not. But I do have a problem with people who spout pointless illogical garbage without a shred of evidence to back it up, and then get upset when other people don't take them seriously. And I don't think I'm in a minority. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. No evidence = epic fail and complete waste of my time.

May I ask what religion it is that you follow?

The thing is, there is no point engaging in any sort of conversation like this or even trying to put any 'evidence' forward on ocuk because you know as well as I do it will be dismissed before it is even looked at, and you are normally the one (from what I have seen) leading the bandwagon. There are other useful websites, forums, books out there available which I'm sure ppl can find themselves if they wish to do so, like I said it's really upto an individual to make up their own mind once they have looked at the whole picture and both sides of the argument.

Thing is there aren't "both sides". It's easy for anyone to make up whatever they want and put it on a website ;)

Believe it or not - when a working man does a favour for his mate, someone at the top is also doing a favour for theirs, somewhere else in the world!

The two sides of the argument being lots of well documented facts against unsubstantiated websites? The reason your "evidence" is generally dimissed so quickly is because it usually fails to be at all credible. Being open minded does not mean accepting everything has the same value.

I absolutely agree, and I would say about 90% of the stuff you come across is nonsense. That's in my opinion ofcourse. But I also believe there is some truth mixed up in all the lies, but sadly it gets overlooked by the majority of people.

a lot of very scared ignorant people here, bury heads in the sand and dismiss everything that is conflicting with your world view, as to actually research some of the claims made here would take effort and time.

the most ignorant people are the ones too quick to dismiss and post tin foil hat pictures. i dont know what's more wrong, to instantly dismiss something or to instantly believe something? .

what i did was read everything i could before i made my mind up on the matter, and i read BOTH sides for and against as i thought i wouldn't be entitled to an opinion until i had done so.

most people here haven't read anything but feel as though they are entitled to an opinion and feel that to instantly dismiss it is good enough for them.

its ignorance in its purest form, expressed by idiots , who know nothing about what they dismiss, but still do.

you need to be equally or more up on the subject as the people who you dismiss , for your opinion to be taken seriously, otherwise you are seen as an idiot.

this is true for any subject ,but this one in particular brings out the fear in most people because its too scary for people to actually consider it for a second.

truth is truth, no matter how many people believe the contrary, its still truth.

My basic opinion on all this is who cares? If our leaders are elected by a few smart people as opposed to most stupid people this seems like a pretty good deal.
