Ahh, just checked and it says "You are on node '' " for me. Dunno if that's cos I'm at work at the moment.

Use the other method - it works ie.

replace the question marks with username and password.

I just signed up for a new account at ADSL24 and activated today. My connection speed is terrible.

Does anyone know what is going on? I have sent a ticket but no reply yet.

what are you sync speeds/connections stats? Also use this speedtester instead.

According to ADSL24 it is due to a BT 10 day training period and is 0.09 Mb/s is an acceptable speed at the moment. WTF? :mad:

Nah, not the case, 10 days is at the outside. mine was a bit rubbish for the first couple of hours then it settled down. If its not sorted by tonight, reboot router/modem and re-connect - worked for me.

Nice upload speed though!

They said there was no fault on the line. I guess I am just going to have to wait and see what happens.

I've had to wait 5 and a half weeks to get broadband activated and now this.

Disconnect any extensions, they could be causing problems.

No, its a new (6 month old) house. Apparently the previous tenant had Sky Broadband on the line but never used it.

There are no other extensions used.

I would expect between 2 and 4mbit at that distance, go find your main socket, take the 2 small screws out the front and plug the router into the test socket behind.

take the front faceplate off the master socket, plug your filter/router into the socket behind that and show us the line stats.
