are tomatoes an essential part of a fry up?

I hate tomatoes but love tomato products (ketchup, sauces, soup etc.)

Don't like fried eggs either, they have to be scrambled and on toast. :p And I hate baked beans smothering everything on the plate.

I love everything else in a fry-up though, including black pudding, mushrooms, fried bread, hash browns etc. :p

Don't like tomatoes so No my fryup consists of:

4 Bacon
2 Eggs Fried/Scrambled/Boiled/Poached
2 Large/3 Small Sausages
2 Slices Black Puddin'
2 Hash Browns
Fried Mushrooms
2 Slices Fried Bread
Beans cooked in fryingpan with leftover cooking fat
1 Large dollop of HP Brown Sauce
1 Large Vat 'o' Tea
1 Pint Fresh OJ

Mmm Thats good breakfast!

edit: I forgot to add:
1 Steak (If availiable)
3 Scotch Pancakes 'w' Maple Syrup(If availiable)

Bacon
Sausages
Beans
Potato Bread
Soda Bread
Fried egg
Black and White Pudding
Tomato is strictly optional in my eyes, but then again i do hate them :)

Thing is though....

Can it still be called a fry up? I mean, I know when I've had what is classed as a fry up my misses will grill or microwave just about all of it...

I end up with -

Microwaved bacon
Microwaved scrambled eggs
Grilled sausage and tomato and mushroom
Toast with low fat spreads
Beans

and thats the best I'll get unless I cook it myself... And to be honest, after having how the gf makes a cooked english breakfast and when I tried it in the frying pan - all that grease made me feel ill...

Grilled or microwaved is just so less fatty and tastes better.

and no tomatoes aren't essential.. !! lol

Microwaved bacon? Are you actually serious?

No tinned tomatos, I was unimpressed last time they served me up tinned tomatos.

Fried, not essential, good if cooked right but i'd rather have other stuff, black pudding, hash browns or whatever.

Yep.... Sorry to say if my gf makes me anything with Bacon in it I end up with microwaved bacon... She pops it in the microwave, once its done she'll wrap it into kitchen paper to mop up the excess fats and then put in a sandwich, on the plate whatever....

I kid not..!! As she is on a low fat diet seems I'm on one as well if she cooks for me....

To he honest, it doesn't taste too bad. But sadly once you've had grilled full english, without fried bread etc, you then soon realise just how fatty and greasy a full fried english breakfast is...

Grilled mushrooms are bit - hmmm to be honest. Grilled sausage is ok.
