The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

You know, I'm not so sure. If there was a completely private and anonymous survey of our fair Isle, with the one question "Do you agree with homosexuality" I suspect the majority will say no.

I also suspect that if split the results via age, the differences would be startling. E.g. >50 no, <20 yes etc.

I definitely agree on the age thing. I don't know anybody homophobic my age. Come across a few older people who were homophobic though. My Grandmother for one.

I'd guess it was down to education and simply being born in an age where we're more tolerant. We've not lived through periods where it was ok to gay bash etc.

How can you say every party in the UK is lacking, if you can't tell me what they're lacking.

When I become prime minister, I can't just listen to the people all the time. I have to do something. What should I do?

lol, bless ya

you should make erasure the only band ( yes Andy Bell is gay so that shuts up those thinking I am homophobic), make Liverpool FC the national team (sack Benitez 1st) and legalise cannabis :)..... oh and no more immigration, unless they is fit (females as in Ali G In Da House)

Just been reading the BBC website user feedback generally seems to contradict tomorrows newspapers, if tonights witch hunt was an attempt to discredit BNP it appears to have backfired... infact if anything it's just confirmed for everyone how pathethic and out of touch with reality Labour are.

a lot of the parties or is that politicians are out of touch. times have changed massively eventually they may realise

Jack Straw was unbelievably useless. I just couldn't believe it. Thing is, I can't think of any political heavyweight they could have sent instead. I mean, they're all useless aren't they? Hain might have been ok, but he was all for the supression of free speech which you know, wouldn't have been a great start. :s

Not jjust the labour party but the torys as well.

We as a Nation are not far from what Hitler done in 1935.

It really would not take to much for civil unrest.

The bankers are now back to million pound bonuses(from taxes), your council leaders are on £60000 plus per year for what)

Oh and crime is on the up.

Question Time has been a farcical pantomime since the expense claims were leaked so I really don't have a problem with the BNP appearing, especially when other single policy parties such as UKIP and the green party get to spout their nonsense.

I think Alan Johnson would have done a much better job of damage reduction where labour is concerned, because they were never going to come out of this with anything positive and Jack Straw is pretty useless.

I have a lot more respect for Baroness Warsi, she was a lot more honest than she has been previously and seemed not to be trying to score as many points.

David Dimbleby is getting more annoying with each programme, his constant interrupting of panelists is getting very tiring.

With regards to my personal views, I'm against our culture and beliefs being eroded, the USA and television has a lot to answer for!

some things should be kept behind closed doors, homosexuality is one of them, it might be morally right to "support" and impossible to legalise against it all together, but its uncomfortable for me at least and slightly sickening see 2 gays kissing in a club or whatever, be it 2 females or males both is pretty horrid for me and many straight people i know of.

its just not normal (obviously) and shouldn't have to put up with it in public places just like smoking.

Thought the question time showing was to focused on the bnp and it seemed to stack the cards against Griffin before the questions started, should have let him dig his own grave as skippi mentioned.

Smoking is an addiction that causes damage, being homosexual is no different to you or me being heterosexual. Some people just are. Do you get as uncomfortable when you see males and females kissing in the street/club?

As regards to Question Time, as much as I hate him I don't think Nick Griffin was given a fair chance to voice his own opinions compared to everyone else, although given what he had to say I'm not surprised everyone was jumping down his throat.

The BBC has a 6 minute highlights clip of the show, it ends with a black man asking 'where would you like to send ME, Nick?', getting a big round of applause, but then NOT showing Nick's answer where he said 'I wouldn't send you anywhere, I would be happy for you to stay here'! Isn't that a clear case of anti-BNP bias?

I have complained to the BBC about this via their website.

The bbc selectively edited Nick's selectively edited response.
