The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

Seriously, what the hell? Would you, in the position of that lady, have behaved any differently? Given what he has said and believes!

I'm not suggesting she should become his best mate, but I don't think some basic civility is too much to ask for, especially when Nick Griffin treated her with respect by all accounts. She can disagree with him as vehemently as she likes, but can still be civil while doing so. Much as some of us on here may have widely differering views on things but are still civil - admittedly unlike her we face the ban hammer otherwise :p

I thought it was interesting that they sat him next to her.
They could have put him anywhere else on the panel.... but clearly putting him right next to her was very deliberate, one of the first things I spotted.

A week previously the BNP website described her as a "black history fabricator". Hardly very respectful.

The way he dismissed his involvement with an ex-KKK leader as his sect was non violent was outrageous. As a black american, of her age as well I'm sure the KKK is not an organisation she would hold in very high regard?

And yet, terrorists like Nelson Mandela who actually took hands on roles in vile murderous activities like necklacing people (that's putting a burning tyre around someone's neck, for those who don't know), are feted by the loony leftists.

The BBC has a 6 minute highlights clip of the show, it ends with a black man asking 'where would you like to send ME, Nick?', getting a big round of applause, but then NOT showing Nick's answer where he said 'I wouldn't send you anywhere, I would be happy for you to stay here'! Isn't that a clear case of anti-BNP bias?

I have complained to the BBC about this via their website.

Got a reply...

Thank you for your message and your interest in this story.

The video highlights you refer to were provided by the production team
to all broadcasters and the aim was to give a flavour of the debate and
the atmosphere in the studio. We have, therefore, made sure to link to

A misleading flavour, I suggest

You can dress it up all you like, his comments were seen by millions of people. If the population ever decide to vote for this party in large numbers god help us all.

From what I have learnt, the main goverment parties ( who are all chummy chummy despite what party so they all benefit from their own approved perks ) actually have a deal with the mainstream media ( Tabloids, TV,Radio ) to join forces to discredit the BNP at every opportunity.
This way, they will always be in power or be a shadow cabinet ( and what a great job they have done so far, you should check out their new duckhouse on their moat ).
The way how they treated Nick on the show last night has backfired, as the public wanted to hear him answer real political questions but the handpicked audience, the panel and the over the top american jerry springer style lady were out to destroy him from the word go. ( Ice age ? Live in the modern world lady, what are you on about )
From what I have seen and read though, he has gained a lot of public sympathy.
It makes you wonder if the trouble outside was started by a rent-a-mob as well.
Typical Example. One question was a guy said he loved England and didnt want to leave.
Nicks answer was that he would stay and Nick only wanted to stop the flood of new immigrants entering the country.
The BBC reports on their website the question only and not a word about the answer ??? (Makes it look worse)

The media is a powerful weapon, and can destroy or make someone heroic as it pleases in an instant.

At the end of the day, the ballot box will be the decider I suppose - and we can be thankful that the vast majority of the UK population has more sense than to vote for this hateful bunch :)

Nicks answer was that he would stay and Nick only wanted to stop the flood of new immigrants entering the country.
Then he is either lying, or directly contradicting his own party's constitution which specifically states that their aims go beyond simply putting a stop to immigration.

It's written there in black and white

The British National Party stands for the preservation of the national and ethnic
character of the British people and is wholly opposed to any form of racial
integration between British and non-European peoples. It is therefore committed
to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring, by
legal changes, negotiation and consent, the overwhelmingly white makeup of the
British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948.

I thought the highight set gave a good example of what Griffin and the BNP stand for, whether or not they try to distance themselves from it when questioned directly (Griffin went against or around the BNP constitution several times last night).

Unless you think Griffin's statements are more important than the party constitution of course...

Wow, conspiracy theory combined with BNP apologist behaviour.

What do you make of the fact that Griffin's reply to the black gentleman went against the stated ideals and policies of the party, and the constitution of the party? He didn't ask if he'd be forcibly repatriated, only where the BNP would want to send him, and their policies on that are very clear (country of ethnic origin, irrespective of place of birth...)

Anyone else think this will be the never ending thread.

BNP supporters are never going to stand down and nor are those who are in the right and against everything Nick Griffin stands for.

Of course, some people cant be made to see sense....

Politics based on hate and fear will never die, it will always survive so long as it has someone or a group of people to blame.

Wow, conspiracy theory combined with BNP apologist behaviour.

Sounds like a perfect combination. Both do a similar combination of digging their heels in, burying their heads in the sand, or pleading either ignorance or denial when you present them with the fallacies in their arguments.

See the reply I gave a moment ago.

How lucky the British people are that they have the good old BBC to decide what we can and can't hear. They decide to censor Nick Griffin's reply because they've decided it casts him in too favourable a light. Blatant, unapologetic Stalinist/Nazi style censorship.
