True, I found myself the other day re-ordering it but cancled it since

I was so looking forward to this. Will wait a bit, I mean if the maps are well thought out the system could be alright (cant believe I just said that). I think the review sites give it enough of a bashing though they may patch it.

I mean surely it cant be that hard, obviously they would probably need to be dragged kicking and screaming into a dedicated server patch but the actual deed of doing it wouldnt be that bad surely.

Less this is all an elaborate plan in making us pay for the dedicated server DLC?

Those were the days. Between the hardcore CS/CSS,CoD1/CoD2 and inhuman amount of WoW I can't really enjoy SP games anymore.

Gosh I remember we'd run strats non-stop in the CoD games, perfecting nades, rush tactics etc. Competitive gaming kind of ruined gaming in general for me lol. The lat SP game I finished was MGS4!

I think I'll get it... I usually play the SP games and if the MP is any good, that's a bonus.

Why do people who buy games say.. £30 for 5-6 hours is bad value blah blah ..whatever!!

People buy bluerays for £20 and get 2-3 hours!! and...

If you buy a game, you generally get the multiplayer aspect... I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein for years.. Grid the same.... comapny of heroes... its just a silly argument to have with regards to PC games... please refrain from sounding silly!!

Again, just because people pay that, it doesn't mean it's good value for money, especially when you compare it to other similar products.

How is it a silly argument? i dont want to play a MP game hosted on someguys 0.5Mb/s upload connection whilst he's seeding torrents etc, and nor do many others. So for a lot of people it's a single player only game. And that's without even mentioning the ridicuously small player counts, lack of mods, no real community etc...

Now tbh i wasn't a big fan of cod 4 or 5, yes i downloaded them both illegally and got fed up of how crap cod 4 was on that ferris wheel level, like come on i killed about 400 people before the chopper came lol!!!

I knew my dad would like such games so I bought him both for his b day. I gave it a go on cod 4 mp and quite enjoyed it but wasn't that bothered about it.

Now they say cod mw 2 wont support dedicated servers and im annoyed by this news, i was even considering buying this as cod 4 online was alright i guess, but after that news im thinking what's the point?

What a let down, and what really gets me is i see it a huge step backwards in gaming terms.
So no i wont be buying this now but i might play the sp like i did with cod 4 and 5.
There loss I guess.

Thing is there really is a big difference between someone hosting a gaming session on say x box live and coming onto a game such as BF2142 , CSS etc where there are DS. It doesnt cripple the game completly its just a little dissapointing for me when ive really been looking forward to the new MP aspect

. Just means if i do buy this it will for sure be on a console.

Im looking forward to playing it, yes im not happy about no dedi server support but im sure its still going to be worth a play. Id rather try and be dissapointed then not try and bash on it.

Sounds like a good idea, the single player campaign is going to be awsome, and to the people complaining about value, im sure you will get a lot of hours out trying to clear it on vet.
