These people are generally know for their loyalty, don't you find it odd they suddenly turn and spill details of great importance to their countries and leaders?
Surely it's much more likely any information these people give is misinformation, one last act of service once they are no longer fit to for-fill their previous roles.
It is possible they're being used as disinformation but for what purpose. It doens't do the governments any favour when astronauts, millitary personnel come out and say UFOs are real and the government is keeping it secret.
Far more likely is that the whistleblowers find it disturbing the government is keeping the existance of ETs and the fact we're not alone a secret.
ofc aliens exist. Even i'm not arrogant enough to believe that we are the only planet in the universe which contains sentient "intelligent" (in the broadest possible sense!) life. Stands to reason also that some other lifeforms would be more advanced technologically than us.

If you're going to put these people in positions to learn this stuff they would be vetted extensively to make sure they have the right mind set.
especially high ups in the military, who would believe it to be for the greater good of the country and the military.
These are people you put in positions where they will be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions for their country in the event of a major war.
if they're capable of that what's a secret going to matter to them?
The problem is not that they exist (this is in my mind a given, i'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of cultures evolving in an infinite universe), the problem is that despite so many people claiming evidence, none has yet been presented that proves anything. Videos shaky or fake, eye-witness accounts generally liars, fantasists, or crazies who can't even make their accounts consistent. Oh yes and then how could I forget... secretive internet people that do the rounds amongst internet forums claiming to know the secrets of the universe, like magick, that do nothing except further invite ridicule to the whole concept with tales of lizard overlords... basically regurgitating the words of Icke et al.
because it would blow peoples minds ! if aliens exsisted and where confirmed or they touched down on earth tommorow it would shatter everyone's beliefs and there thoughts on what life is. there would be widespread chaos
not saying i believe mind. infact i dont have a clue what to believe. its too difficult for me to even think about

.we see them as weirdos but when you think about it they are no stranger than people with strong religious faith (like the op was getting at) or ancients tribes and civilisations who strongl elieved in grey spirits and the afterlife sort of stuff
they just have very different beliefs , maybe caused by drugs , maybe a dream , maybe things theyve read by others with similar different beliefs.
i do think magick is wasting his time trying to tell people on here his beliefs though. should be sharing them with others who think similar

I think the majority of the world would say "Oh, look Aliens, amazing" and those with religious beliefs would say "Oh, look Aliens, amazing and our God made those too".
Widespread chaos because of Aliens is a myth generated by CTs.
There are (Wiki count) 203 different countries and at least one of them (China, North Korea, Russia) would have provided real evidence if there was any.
There is absolutely zero need for countries to keep it quiet because if there really are Aliens then they are friendly.
The fact is there is no evidence.

Just because you seen UFOs does not make them alien, just because you see "aliens" does not make them aliens.
I've seen flaming Satans, had 3 "alien doctors" come and inject me, had snakes cruelling in my room and many many other things. Guess what it's not aliens. It's sleep paralysis. These are all usually reaquering. before anyone says we don't understand sleep paralysis fully. We do know what stages of sleep we are in and brain waves, we also know there is nothing in the room.
I've seen "ufo" and everytime a rational explanation has showen itself.
First time was a bright light, wind and noise. I had no idea what it was. Untill the next day report that some people had escaped from the local prison and it was a police hellicopter. When you got night vision and a 10million watt light(numbers made up) pointed at you, you can't see jack ****.
2nd was the classic metallic tube, after watching it for about 5 minutes it changed direction and suddenly wings and tail plain where visible.
3rd was a chain of lights, Initially I was thinking milliatry flares or something, but some where floating upwards, wasn't until I went to Glastonbury did it suddenly click. Chinnesse lanterns. I've made many myself and it didn't click on the night.
Then we have a place in Australia where there are two parallel roads with a mountain/hill in the middle with lots of reports of lights following cars. Turned out at certain times of years and with certain conditions, car lights from one highway was reflected/refracted, over the hill. Due to the roads running parallel it looked like you where being followed. (was in new scientists years and years ago)
Then we have the classic ball light UFO, otherwise known as ball lightning, which has a strong correlation with seismic activity. What's more likely Alien craft causing earthqaukes or earthquakes making ball lightning as several scientists have put forward and are still working on and trying to understand.
Then we have grey aliens which can be traced back to modern literature (not thousands of years, they are quite clearly depictions of head dresses.
Then we have triangular UFO which again is traceable to the stealth projects in America and the test flights.
We have flying saucers which again is a relative new idea and again has strong links to media and America having plans for flying saucers, released under the freedom of information act. which closely represent engine placement and size of a few eye witnesses.
Who knows what planes they are testing at area52 or other such places.
