I feel eveyone (inc myself) has fallen for the hype train :(

As much as I loved COD 4 at the time, I do feel people have jumped straight on the hype train with this. Find it hard to fathom all these people flocking to the supermarkets, just for a game. You'd think it was the greatest game ever, not just another 6 hour COD experience.

Think I'll be leaving this one.

Pioneer are visiting later to update the firmware on my TV which means I have to go home early.

I have 2 copies of MW2 sat on my desk next to me too. Happy days :D

Just got this from Morrisons, £26 note. Walked in, bought, walked out.

The guy on the desk said there's 10 copies left behind the desk and plenty more in the back.

:p ha, meant to say 26 notes.

just went to load it up there and it crashed (after installing it), hope this isn't a sign of things to come :(

Just got mine for £25.99 (and £32 online :o) I'm going to return the online order whenever it decides to turn up. Funny thing is that it's not even been dispatched yet and payment hasn't been taken, but they won't let me cancel the order so now I've got to arse around with returning it now...

Ive returned,

£26 morrisons result...

oh and shopto can kiss my ass, the guy on the phone said 50 people will have to go without the game today!

having never played cod am i completely missing the point off all the perks and specials ??? seems like it just makes it even harder for people who are already finding it hard or who dont have time to play all day/night ?

Decided to pop out once more, after reading a previous post about yet an even cheaper supermarket, I was stood in the games section and low and behold not a single bloody copy :( Then I hear an “excuse me” as an employee needed to stack the shelf – only to put out boxes for three copies of the PS3 version…. Hurrah!!!!

Snagged two copies cheaper than that prat CEO thought we should all pay for just one – thank goodness for supermarkets!

Graphics are rather detailed, sound isn't up to much though. I recently got a 5.1 system and it doesn't seem like sounds are very easy to pinpoint in terms of direction, and I noticed in the first mission that dialogue was far too clear and had no sense of placement considering it was in the middle of a firefight. Rather annoying, especially when you're trying to locate someone shouting at you.

In Morrisons you have to ask at the entertainment tills.

They had zero copies on the shelves, in fact they were still selling them when I visited for lunch.

Queue was a blistering 4 people at lunch time :p
