Have you tried the cards one at a time. ?
This is one card at a time....was going to get the drivers installed with just one card then run a few benchies to get a baseline and then install the second card and crossfire them.
yes as above really, have you plugged in the 6 pin power lead from your psu to the back of the card, its in one of the red vents
only prob ive had is the heat, averaging 80-90 degrees each, just playing borderlands
Try resetting the motherboard bios.. Does seem weird if your nvidia card works fine.
Does your mobo have any recent BIOS updates? Might be worth flashing to latest just incase.
Don't see why you should have a problem though, especially with one card![]()
OK I tried support this morning but they are as stumped as me on this apart from suggesting the cards are incompatable with the asus p5q pro turbo mobo. Is anyone out there using the Asus board at the monent with a 5770 card that can confirm they work ok on it?
Skal.
Hi guys first post n all, thought id take the plunge n register, anyway, Im using the asus p5q pro skal with the asus 5770, works fine here, had a couple of glitches initially but all seems to be working fine, im running a e8200 dual core at 3.6 with it, hope this helps. Specs are in sig.
The only bugs iv found is the damn flickering when using extended desktop in windows 7 on 2 monitors.
could you try the cards in a friends computer??
From what i know xfire drivers are usually pretty bad
from what i know xfire drivers are usually pretty bad
Who told you that?
Sounds like a comment from someone who has never used crossfire before, probably read some obscure post from 2006 when crossfire did suck.
