Takeaway pizza

Nonsense, I love sainsbury's hot & spicy pizzas! They were better before though, they've shrank by about 4 inches and got rid of the fennel sausage.

If you go to Dominos at about 12:05 PM (Night) a few minutes after closing, but before they lock the doors, they usually have the orders that were cancilled already made and they will usuallly sell them at like 80% off. We do that every Friday and Saturday when we go out, usually about 4-5 larges and 3-4 Small or Mediums in their fridge. If you don't buy them they just reheat them for the next day or take them themself.
(Between about 5 of us we usualluy have 3 large)

They sometimes still have the sticker on with the original orderers name + address on, I once got a large plain cheese one with chillies, extra cheese and extra chillies, for
"Mr Smith, Hemp Lane." There isn't a Hemp lane where I live. Silly Polish man taking orders. He is lovley though.

Give it a go at your local one see if they will do it for you also.

dominos may be expensive but it's by far the tastiest and least greasiest.

pizza hut and most local takaways are like grease in a box

i always use the offers and online voucher codes (bogof, spend £30 and get 50% off etc).

Used to order frlom just-eat website using the metro3 £3 off thing but they stoped it. :( All that was needed was a phone number change to reuse the code hehe. :D

Me and the lady ordered a large (thin crust) Dominos last night, 50/50, my side ramped the cost up to £20 delivered.

And to be honest it was rubbish, I'll be making my own in the future.

It's ridiculously expensive. When in Australia I was paying £2.50 for a large dominos on Tuesdays and £4.50 on normal days.

Why is it three times the price here?

Why were my Levi jeans £17 a pair in Texas but £60+ here:(
We get done up the doggy door for most things.

The trouble with Pizza takeaways is that with the big chains, you know what you are getting, but you will be charged an arm and a leg for one. Simple fact is, people buy them, so there is no need to change their prices.

As far as independents go, the trouble is finding a good one. In the past I've ended up with Pizzas that have had mouldy bases, mushrooms that came out of a can etc....

So most of the time I will order Dominos/Pizza Hut/Papa Johns because I know its a safe choice. If you find a local that does a proper decent pizza, then fair play to you.
