Yeah, thats how you get silly kill streaks,

His team mates have pinned the other team in but not encroached therefore the spawn point hasnt moved. They have spawn camped the other team (similar to what you could do on COD4 on crash at the A domination point.

Easy to hit a target spawn point then, some of them must have died within 1 second of spawning!

Was playing sabotage - least I think. The one where you get the bomb and have to plant it at enemy base...

Anyway, been working friggin hard to actually play the game the way its meant to be played, but I can hear a yank sprouting off about don't plant the bomb cause I want to see if I can get the nuke. I thought, hell with that I am here for my own enjoyment as well, so I managed to plant the bomb.

The abuse I got in the lobby after was awful. And not only from the guy who was going for the nuke...

Was I the one in the wrong here? Should I have let him try to get his nuke? Or was I right to play the game as it was meant?

I didn't take it personally - rather I had a good chuckle to myself, but is the abuse really necessary?

Should have just told him to play private if he wants to do that.And also to stop being a knob!
I'm guessing other people will have been trying to boost in the game which is why they were moaning.

a lot of people are using domination and sabotage to camp and try to rack up massive kill counts. thats what makes the nuke so annoying, they dont even try to play the game but end up winning for sitting on a roof while everyone else is trying to complete the objective.

oh and as for the abuse, ive had a fair bit. someone bothered to send me a voice message after a game telling me what a ******* **** i was. :rolleyes:

It is damn hard for sure.

There are a couple of sneaky ways of doing it.

But if you are doing it the proper way its just a case of running around like a mad man and popping off thumper rounds when you get the chance.

Really is a mental challenge, and by far the hardest one.


In other news, got my 1000/1000G last night :D
 
Hearing that news about Scavenger Pro has really thrown a spanner in the works and does explain how I came up against a team of Americans who just used the noob tube and nothing else!

I really cannot decide on a combination of perks in this. COD4 was pretty straight forward I only ever had 2 combinations one for normal modes and one for hardcode but in MW2 I seem to settle on a different combination depending on the map and gametype.

I need more custom classes LOL!
