I agree actually. Played online starting in a Party and then we started up a Head quarters match and everyones pings were pretty sweet. It even matched us to another clan.
 
SP was good. I like the MP but at the moment I'm struggling with lag in a lot of games. Host switching isn't so much of an issue because the games are so short.
 
Anyone having any issues with the 1.0.168 update? My textures keep changing to low res. It still says extra in the options screen but they look awful. It can swap over mid game. Been doing it all day....

Its not balanced for consistant hi res textures.

I agree I think Gamespot have messed up there is no way that it looked that crap when I played, actually those screenshots are pathetic, I'm gonna take my own now to prove it
 
argggggggggghhhhhhhhhh really gets to me when people go on saying yeh but how do PC's cost compared to consoles OMFGGGG

People with consoles have this fantasy that somehow their cheaper than a PC wth, you can make a decent gaming comp for £500 that your gaming plus your computer stuff in one

You get a console you also have to buy a computer £300 min so your already on £500 add in the expensive accessories for consoles the price of the games, subscriptions, people need to get real PC is cheaper, poor warranties and unreliable hardware, they are so blind and ignorant its unreal

I'm not really sure what you're saying here.

My textures are changing quality mid game. For example, the gun model will look quite detailed & then I can pause the game & continue playing & the gun looks like all the detail has gone & the textures are all smudged & blurred. Also my mini map changes quality & when it all goes low quality the map looks like it needs AA turned on. Very blocky & ugly.

Its never happened before until today & it keeps doing it now...
 
Wow, it seems like each 'patch' is making the game worse.

Maybe that's their strategy to get people buying new games, release patches that degrade the game!
 
It really is a joke, I said P2P will be fine no worries and 60% of the time I'm right but I don't want a game functioning at 60% of the time it needs to be 95%+

Servers, servers, servers I'd be embarrased to say I was part of such a decision in their team they can't cover it up, it would have been cheaper for them, sold them more copies and had their customers wanting more and more but nooo
 
Getting tired of same maps over and over again, I want to choose ones I like or haven't managed to play yet, not frickin' quarry!

Yep Afghan is one of my favourite maps. Shame you have to wait for what almost seems like a random rotation of maps. They don't seem to be in any logical order. :rolleyes:

What is prestige mode like? DO you go through the levels up to 70 again?

I just unlocked the ACR and was really looking forward to using it, but I'm finding it really isn't that great, in my hands anyway.

The SCAR seems to be one of the best rifles, which annoys me because I really want to use others, but they just don't have the power/acc that it does.

What are the OcUK peeps using as their main load out?

The one I always go back to; SCAR+heartbeat sensor+extended mags. Spas 12 +grip+FMJ. Stopping power pro, ninja pro, bling pro.
 
Oh also, for some really stupid reason when ever I try to play Ground War IWNet decides that my 2meg connection is the best out of the 18 other people making me the host. I can not play Ground War because of this and it irks me badly.
