It may very well kill your 4 new Intel drives, given other peoples experience.

It wont kill'em, I'll update under Vista 32 bit, no problems. It's the update procedure, not the firmware itself that screws the drives.

I won't need TRIM as I'm putting the 4 drives in RAID0, but I would like the performance gains.

Anyone with the firmware at hand?

Do you have a special RAID controller? 2 drives pretty much saturates the read performance of the intel mobo controller (600MB/s combined maximum I think).

The toolbox is OK to use isn't it, just deletes system restore points?

If anyone has that, I'd quite like it.
