Man it took me back to 2002 and my first MP gaming.

It is still after all this time one fantastic game I played it for 30 mins or so and loved it. Infact I might play it more often.

Anyone else tried it again recently.

Was good feel to ramp the graphics upto max (something I hadn't done before) no unlocks no helicopters/dogs no prone it is simply great. No HUD showing everyone where I was camping. Just great fun.
 
not related to your game. However, I re-installed my first MP game, SOF2. I nearly cried it's so awesome. I choke up a bit though at all the old clan mates that are largley now MIA.

Still have our old clan website up which attracts posts from everyone once a year :(
 
i havent played sof2 for ages.

i was in a clan called noobmare.....good old days they was.

im sure they are still going.

Same! Me and 3 other clan mates still see each other quite often after chatting through that game, amazing we've stayed in touch after 7 years!
We used to play V1.0, never bothered with Gold. -John- was the clan :D
 
MOHAA was my first WW2 Shooter, back from 2002. Before then the only games I'd ever played were the C&C series. Fantastic memories.

will always be on my top 15.:)
 
Allied Assault... What a game, it's still unsurpassed for me in terms of sheer enjoyment. I wasted so much of my life playing that with Benjo and Pulse, but it was just SUCH good fun.

And who could forget the adrenaline rush of trying to get all three bashes in before they notice what's happening? :D

I still occasionally install it and play it for abit, played it for so many Hours back in the day. Stalingad and Remagen was my fave maps :D oh Algiers was pretty good to :D
 
<SBV>Bubo reporting for duty. So how easy is it to get it running on a modern PC with say a 280GTX? I heard it didn't like newer graphics cards very much. Widescreen mod available also?
 
I was watching the 'Omaha Assault' mission on YouTube yesterday and thinking 'man, it'd be awesome if somebody ported that to the CryEngine' - MOHAA is indeed an amazing game...
 
There are a surprising number of folk, like myself, who have never stopped playing this from day one. Been in several clans, played dozens of clan matches on the classic maps like The Hunt, The Bridge, V2 etc
This game gives me enjoyment and satisfaction like no other.
I once won a 20 player bash only free for all on the bridge where the whole clan had Ronald McDonald skins and Homer Simpsons "doh" for bash noises, the laughter and cracks on TS were truly epic !
Theres not as many servers or players around now but the hardcore are still there and loving it !
 
Yep MOHAA was my first taste of online MP gaming - used to be amazing - reading this thread is tempting me to pick it up and give it a try again! Hmmm
