Gotta say, reading this thread makes me think i'll never buy this game even when its reduced in price. MW was good but had its flaws. MW2 seems to have increased those flaws to unbearable levels and whats better is you can't even control your own server.

Forgot about that one. Now the framerate doesn't keep up with my brain, I can't spin around checking for people because it looks like a slideshow. you're better off keeping the camera still and looking around.
About the camping, I'm not talking about people who strategically defend a spot on the map, I'm talking about the people who'll just sit in the same corner with their crosshairs on the doorway, waiting for people to come round the corner and "bang", they just sit there for the whole game. No skill involved and no fun either I'd imagine. I'm not one of these people who will shout "CAMPER!" or moan and whinge but it does get on my **** a bit.

Not this again.Watch football on a normal HD Tv and then watch it on a 200Hz Tv and tell me there is no difference.
Yeah thats what i was thinking... Theres no difference between anything above 60 Hz... if you could actually see a difference at higher then you'd spend all day watching lights flicker.

There is a HUGE difference between 85fps and 125fps. The quake engine was designed to run at 125fps/250fps/330fps. Not 85fps
Open CoD4, cap ur FPS at 125fps and tell me its not smooth. Now cap it to your refresh rate (in my case 75hz) and it is incredibly sluggish.
Not even going to explain why but people who say theres no difference are lol worthy.

X can be anything, the funniest I heard was 24
The human eye does not see in terms of fps. I imagine the framerate where you stop seeing any benefit in terms of fluidity in a computer game is different for each individual. The sweet spot for me seems to be 125, anything above that is a waste for me personally.

totally agreeable. I can easily tell the difference between 60 and say 100. I haven't a clue about all the technical mumbo jumbo people on here sprout about but I can deffinatley tell.
Some games I can play fine on 30fps, but cod for sure is not one of them.

I didn't agree with what they did to the PC gamer, that said no matter what it was gona be a hit on the Ps3 and didn't want to miss out, granted the money goes to IW but it will still make a small contribution to the PC gamer.... either that or it will go the other way and make IW only relased for console!
Tbh i now have come to the conclution that moaning and boycotting games doesn't get you anywhere, the dev's will do what they want and there is nothing you can do about it besides cut your nose off despite your face!
