Best way to get into ocuk games is to be in the lbby so add people and either start your own or hop in when you see people making one. :)

yeah, you're less likely to get moaned at for stealing a spot when you join a lobby :)

Yer about that, I was invited to a game by Dave. So I joined his team versus. I then received an invite from Tefal & Evil - but thinking I'd better not leave the game i'm in and letting down my current teammates I stayed.

Moments later we were kicked back to lobby for some unknown reason after starting a game. Dave dissapeared leaving us with only 3 players and I figured that was that then. So I thought i'd join the invite I received earlier only to discover that Dave had ninja'd the last slot in the versus game that Tefal & Evil were hosting rather than search for new team versus opponents.

Was I wrong not to jump ship on the first invite and my tough luck that I missed the slot (not that I was overly bothered as I played publics and had some laughs).

Is there any etiquette in this circumstance - discuss.

Yeah that was me. I spent the 2nd half of the level with 600 ping so went to reboot my router and you ninja'd my spot :p No hard feelings :D

Not seen the models lined up before. I disagree, Francis looks pretty similar, rest don't. What gets me is the Coach model still looks more like Uncle Phil than that guy :D Rochelle i hate because of her voice not because of her looks.

ITs a tough one, if i'm in a game already with people I know I won't leave for any other invites that come through even if I'm in a bad game. It just does n't seem right or fair to the group i'm with but saying that if its so bad people are already leaving or its obviously not going to get finished I would leave.

If the games not started and we are all sitting in the lobby then I would possibly leave if the other option seemed a lot better but more often than not I would stay.

If the lobby is not even full and I get another invite then I would most likely leave if the other option seemed like the more fun game.

That's a tough one, 'fragger. I tend to believe that once you are in a lobby and it's full, then you're in the game until it ends or something happens to cause you to leave (RQs don't count :D). Nipping off to join another game and leaving those you're grouped up with is poor form, in my opinion. In the circumstances, I probably would have done the exact same thing you did - and been left in the same position.

Add all the regulars to your friends list and at least a game or two normally get started in the evenings, and people should invite you in to a lobby, then from there join a game. You won't get much luck joining into a server once a game starts because Rage Quits are very rare in OcUK games.

All so it's a bit of a (pasty) smash & grab rush to the server. I've added all of those people onto my list to maximise the chance of getting into a game :p

Pookie Bear/PookieB/Luw - I couldn't seem to add you for some reason?

Did you add tefal or the one in my sig?

If you added tefal i think there's someone else with that name add the latter that's my account name, will make sure it comes to me then :)

Oh dear, yes I did add 'Tefal' :p I'm a bit confused with the OcUK name/Steam Name/Steam ID stuff, seems people refer to different ones sometimes. I'll add Ricorodreguez, cheers.

account names are completely unique (what you use to log in with), but you can have your friends name what ever you like :)

and many people can have the same friends name etc.

So there's someone out there with tefal as their account name so it adds them by default.

There is also a section to add people you recently played with, you joined a game full of some semi decent players (atleast my team was ;)) Tefal was probably on your recently played with list :)
 
I have to tidy my room (my mummy says its dirty) then im going for 3 weeks solid.


Now about to rder a server so I can play with sourcemods.

These are the right player names but you will need to check the steam name thread for the right steam names. mine is mrerritt@hotmail so add me on that
