Depends on your reason for going really. I've been a few times, I'd admit it wouldn't be top of my list for holiday destinations. Some people cant cope with the culture shock, some people can.

It is one of those drugs that if you like being stoned pretty much grabs you mentally on the first few occasions and physical addiction is only around the corner, destroying your life is not far behind.
It doesn't have to destroy you're life. I know of many people who have got off it and are totally clean of illicit drugs now.
Yeah but is is pretty more intense and more pleasureable than being stoned! like the euphoria, great feeling all over including the head, makes your mind blank for hours, chills you out a lot, makes music sound amazing, and you throw up the first time you do it (usually anyway) but as you use more of it and get addicted you need to use it just to feel normal and if you go without you feel awful and get withdrawl symptoms if dependent, from what I've heard.

And on topic: It's a different country and they can do what they like, especially China.
So do I, but for everyone that I know kicked the habit 2 died so they destroyed their own lives and their families lives.
I know of 5 people that have gotten off it that used for years and no one that has died from overdosing but overdosing with benzos is quite common or obviously just far too much H for you're body/mind to handle.
