So if someone gives two pounds of smack to a toddler and asks them to carry it through customs the toddler should be killed?


Some "afflictions, diseases, psychiatric problems," produce adults who are no more mentally capable than a toddler so if they die so should the kid.

Then one would hope you would sympathise with someone who commited a crime whilst afflicted with such an illness.
 
He most likely knew what he was doing and also would have known the consequences, if not then its a shame, but the guy is hardly a saint to begin with if he's in this kind of situation.

Will be interesting to see if the Chinese execute him after all the letters and whatnot, wont have to wait long to find out anyway.
 
well, he's gonna be executed no matter what by the looks of things and no amount of arguing on a forum will change the outcome. It does make you think twice about travelling to China, what if some drugs were planted in your luggage without you knowing?

No, my evidence is based on research, which while it can be clouded by opinion, has raw data to support it, and sometimes requires pragmatism to achieve a desired effect, rather than carrying on with something that clearly doesn't work...

That is the most ridiculous 'fact' I have ever heard. Its like saying 3" of water is enough to kill 1,000,000 - Its true, potentially, but hardly likely.
