Wine tonight?

Spie you need some of this fine wine:

Was this the stuff you got in a crate a little while back?

EDIT: To be more precise you posted about it on here :p

Pah wine! I'll be on the ale tonight as I dont have a decent bottle of red at home. Breaking out some sparkly Cava though at midnight (bought some cheap champers glasses and im damn well going to use them!)

Hope it's been looked after Spie. The g/f's parents have some ancient wine they inherited and most of it tastes like 4-star unfortunately, because it's not been kept cool enough or in the dark :(

The bottle of '94 something or other came out for the Christmas table and my stomach was turning just thinking about it :D
It's been cellared until last night, so I'm feeling good about its condition :)

Just out of curiousity - how much has that wine gone up in price since it was initially released.

If you were to spend £220 on it now - would it be worth £700 in 10 years time ?
I think it about £70 to £80 a bottle. Not sure.

I suppose it will be amazing to see how the wine ages. If you have a good memory you can compare the bottle you drink tonight with a bottle in a year or even a few years down the line.

Was gonna go out, but instead I'm gonna take some pics of my daughter by the pool.

Might have some Lambrini tonight, followed by some internet willy waving.

Anyone else?

Nice Spie, very nice! - £220 per bottle? I'd bloody well hope so!

A Happy new Year to you & your team Sir, I'm damn sure after a few glasses of that it will be! :)
