Are you serious? You did see the first two characters on the numberplate too, right?I don't see the problem, it's not pretending to be something it isn't, the numberplate even says TT on it...
Are you serious? You did see the first two characters on the numberplate too, right?
And you still think it's not pretending to be anything?
I don't think he's trying to pass it off as an R8, but he's gone way beyond just buying a bodykit for a TT.
About what?
I can understand some people might not like it but I still think all the 'I can tell its fake' comments are missing the point - it's not meant to be a fake R8 in the first place.
No mate, its you missing the point here, no its not meant to be a fake R8, its supposed to be a TT except now it just looks like it wants to be an R8 (regardless if that was the owners intention or not) and, to the majority of car enthusiasts, it looks absurdly laughable.
Anyway, each to his / her own, if it floats your boat, good for you.
It has an R8 style kit, R8 style side panels, R8 plate. If this isn't trying to be a replica/fake then what the hell is?
Pretending to actually be an R8? Not at all
it's not meant to be a fake R8 in the first place.
ROFL LOL
Yep that's exactly what I do when I read your posts. Just for a laugh, I'd like to hear your explanation of why it has an R8 reg plate if it isn't in any way an imitation R8?![]()
Challenge: beat the logic.
Car - Audi TT
Is Audi TT
Modification - Add R8 inspired bodykit
Definition of fake "make a copy of with the intent to deceive"
...oh wait no, failure, because it looks so absolutely nothing like an actual R8 still, so is clearly not intended to decieve
