Watch the show of FMA its mint. The girl with the third eye is good, studio ghibbo (sp) is usually good stuff.

Mainly tho what genres do you like as there a lot of them.

A lot, the anime I can recall watching is trigun, gungrave, fist of the northstar, cowboy bebop, naruto, tokyo underground and X(the film not the series) berserk was awesome too... I think ninja scroll was the first ever one I watched.

Just wondering what else is kicking about nowadays to watch and where I could begin. Maybe just rebuy that lot aswell...

TL ; DR - Anything really I suppose.

Cool, I'll check that out.

Edit - I shouldn't be asking as it is expensive as it is but hey I need something to do. :p

Same director (Mamoru Hosoda) and everything as the girl who leapt through time.

Awesome news :) Summer Wars is a fantastic film. :)

Speaking of films, still waiting patiently for the release of the 5cm/s re-release.

re-watching toradora atm, never gets old aswell as working my way through noein which actually seems to make a bit more sense this time round lol. Really unique style to it.

Fortunately I picked up the original ADV release of 5cm/s when it came out ... it's a nice film, and looks great, but sadly the story is no where near as good as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time or even The Place Promised in Our Early Days.

Not managed to get through Toradora or Noein yet ... I've seen the first 6 or so episodes of both before but not got beyond that for various reasons each time. Need to give them another go at some point, (at the moment that'll probably be May)

Down to the last couple of episodes of YUAS2 at the moment.

If anyone hasn't got Kanon and wants to get it I thought I'd point out that Funimation are releasing it again under their new budget S.A.V.E label in March for $22.49 (on TRSI) ... which is cheap but then TRSI have got a Funimation studio sale on at the moment with 40% off titles which means that it'll be very very cheap ... (even without got Anime membership)

Just finished watchin spice and wolf eng version. Damn what a lovely show. Voice of holo is wonderful and quite a sexy little wolf she is too. :)

Roll on season 2. Sigh tho it will be quite awhile till its done in eng. :(

So finished YUAS2 ... very very good, roll on season 3 ....

Also watched Honey and Clover Pt1 ... not really sure what to make of it, plot isn't that bad but some of the style is not sitting that well with me ... I'll probably pick up the rest of it but not as a high priority.

And watched Blue Drop ... wasn't expecting much as I'd read some reviews putting it down but I thought that it was an all right little series, yes it has a few issues ... but I've seen an awful lot that were worse.

Finished watching the second series of Junjou Romanitca last night. It's taken me ages to get to the end as I only ever watch it if I'm up really late at night, and when I'm in a very specific mood.

The problem is trying to find something similar to watch now it's over. Oh well, a third series should come along this year hopefully.

Finished watching the first half of Special A last night. Quite amusing in a School Rumble sort of way ... although the main female character can be annoyingly dense at times.

Started watching Tears to Tiara, so far I've seen the first to episodes which were quite enjoyable

Skeeter, aye I'm really looking forward to the second series of S&W, i'm also surprised at how closely the first seem to have followed the book so far (I'm about halfway through the book).

I'm currently watching Magic Knight Rayearth (TV) which is reminding me a lot of an RPG game so far (4 episodes in), which i'm sure isn't an accident :)

About S and W, i was rather glad that they didn't overuse and kept it rare the transformations to the giant wolf. I don't think I would have enjoyed it if it was on screen all the time. Subtle use was defiantly the way to go imo. :)

Just finished watching Freedom. It's a very nice space story about Earth and Mars. Totally recommend it for the animation quality, style, story.

Im working my way through that myself at the moment seems good so far although im finding that the animation just doesn't seem as 'fliud' compared to allot of shows.

Seemed fine to me on Blu-ray ... quite a nice little story although the product placement is a bit in your face at times (understandably).

Agree with SkeeterPSA about them not over using transformations in Spice and Wolf; they could have so easily used it as a get out of everything card every time there was an issue but thankfully they avoided doing so. At the current rate I'll probably start re-watching the series off DVD next week.

Currently working my way through the part 1 release of Tears to Tiara ... which I'm finding better than I expected, and quite a bit more amusing than I expected.

Yeah it's a nice and interesting take blending elements of Welsh Mythology and the King Arthur legend. Though Arawn's harem gets a little ridiculous at times.

It's funny how many Eroge Visual Novel games tend to have the some of the best stories and themes. Fate/Stay Night being another such example.
